Story

The Hood River Hotel, which celebrated its 105th anniversary in the year 2016, has 32 standard guest rooms, and 9 suites featuring extra space and kitchenettes for people who like to prepare some of their own meals. We feature Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a fitness facility and sauna. This is a nice little hotel with fun historic charm. The bed was super comfy, room was nice. Service was nice. The only reason it wasn’t a full 5 stars is you can hear the highway and traffic noise during the day, but not so much at night. They provide earplugs, which definitely help! Otherwise, this might not concern most people, I still has a fantastic stay!

Very nice old school hotel in the heart of hood river. Walking distance to great places to eat and enjoy hood river's many amenities 
Downside?......... trains, but the hotel has thoughtfully provided earplugs in the rooms

Clean, quaint hotel. We stayed during a quiet weekday so did not experience street noise however the hotel is near the local train tracks so we did hear a train run fairly often. The hotel does provide ear plugs.  Ideal location for exploring around town.

Very small room w/ poor ventilation. Time was, said the old man when you could have any room in the Hood River Hotel for $99 on Sunday night- including breakfast. Those days are gone. We paid $148 w/tax for an interior room w/ no a/c and one window which opened about 6". Easily the smallest bathroom I've ever used and among the smallest rooms overall at approximately 12 x 12'. No more free breakfast as they have farmed that out to PDX based Broder (high quality but you will spend $10-15 pp. Overall, the location is great but sorely lacking in creature comforts.

Really cute place, board games available to use, snacks in lobby are reasonably priced, staff is super nice. 

The rooms are quaint and original, if you’re looking for something super updated and modern then this isn’t for you. It is a very charming place. 

If you have a river view room you will hear a train multiple times through the night. The hotel provides earplugs but the train was actually quite nice to hear while laying in bed. 

Location is perfect for walking around the downtown shops and going to breweries.
