We stopped at the Riverview Best Western Plus at Hood River just because we had driven too far that day. We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. Not only did we enjoy the beautiful  river view from our room (and the quiet), but the professional and friendly service throughout made our stay memorable. Other highlights:  Kudos to the chef for a delicious, beautifully prepared dinner and breakfast (home made granola with fresh fruit). Special thanks to the friendly staff. We will return!

This is a nice, modern hotel in an excellent location next to the Columbia River just outside the city of Hood River Oregon. I have downgraded my assessment of this hotel based on value. We were shocked to pay more than $400 per not for a suite that was right next to a busy bridge. Be careful with your room selection at.

Stayed in the Executive Suite; fabulous views and room layout—very spacious and exactly what I needed for the stay. My only surprise was the lack of a stocked mini-fridge and the vet non-realistic "fireplace". Hotel staff were always kind and helpful. Great gym, hot tub and spa. Also enjoyed the dining.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great views on the river side. I was tied between this hotel and the Hampton Inn, but the river-facing rooms of the Hampton don't have views. Delicious sit-down breakfast included.

We had a waterfront room with balcony, it was great to watch all the activities on the river, and the bridge, see all the people walking alone or with their animals.  The rooms are clean and nice, what you expect from Best Western.  It was a totally enjoyable experience, one I would do again if I were in the area.
