Hitching Post Motel

Said they would hold a room for my family and when we got there they rudely came out of one of the rooms and screamed they had nothing available. I will never go there again

If I could give them 0 stars I would! A friend had warned me about staying there and I should have listened. I made reservations with the owners six months ago for two separate weekends. One weekend for four rooms and another for six rooms. The motel staff conveniently lost my reservations. The only way I found out about it was when a friend of mine called to take one of the rooms reserved and she was informed they had no record of me whatsoever. I can only imagine showing up to check in had my friend not called and not have a place to stay. I was promised a call back, which also did not happen. Extremely disappointed!

I liked it a lot better when Ron and Roxy were there ....there was a nut named Mark...oh God....Jim and cristy were nice, the son , Dan is a nice guy....I havent been there in almost 2 years left due to an incessant RODENT problem, rats, and field mice; they deficated and vomitted on the carpet..gross! it's room 2,; you can still see the big foam ball in the kitchenette (or so I heard,?)where that mark tried to stop the mice...well it didn't work...but like I said most of the people were kind...so good luck y'all!

I have enjoyed staying at this Motel. The Manager went out of his way to make my stay great. Even though it is close to the road at night it is quiet. The rooms have a microwave, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. It is lovely here in the changing season. It is a great place to stay for a while or just for a night!

Amazing place to stay. Loved it and the owner is really really nice! Warned me of the carpenter ants and said if I see any he would take care of them. Always made sure we were stocked on supplies. I stayed for a week. Beautiful scenery. Also the rooms always smell really really good. Would highly recommend this place.
