Hertz Halifax Marriott Hotel Halifax NS

I was refused a rental, because i have an 'N' Classification on my license, which is fair, i understand the policy. My issue is the process of trying to get refunded for this. They told me to contact he website i booked through, who've told me to call Hertz. I've been rolled around, because, of course, the company wouldn't want to give me my money back.

I was concerned about the service after reading reviews here, but price was lower than others, so we've decided to give it a try. Surprise! Only positive experience. The employee was friendly and explained us everything. Car was almost new (18K), clean and shiny. Gas tank was full, no need to prepay for this. After week of traveling around Nova Scotia we have returned the car with no problems and no extra payments (we filled the gas tank before returning). If I ever need a car in Halifax again, will definitely use these guys.

I "pre-paid" for gas, as they said it would be cheaper than filling up the tank before we return the car because the Hertz rate was $1.07 vs the $1.14 in town. When filling up during our road trip, I noticed that what I paid for the full tank was nearly $20 less than what the "pre-pay" price was. It cost only $47 to fill the Chevy Cruze. I hope that I can get a refund on this since I pre-paid Hertz $64 for gas up front?

The worst - don't reserve cars you don't have. and let people wait in line when you know you don't have any cars. terrible service and people.

Worst service. Refused to come out and look at car when we took it and tried to blame us for a ding on a hubcap after the fact. Then they didn't check the car as returned and we got a letter a month later threatening legal action. How is this place in business?
