Health First Optometry

I’m incredibly disappointed in the service I received from the staff at health first optometry. Reception was not welcoming and I had to get their attention when I arrived to check in for my appointment. The person who did my preliminary testing was curt and not friendly at all. Another staff member looked at my previous glasses and ending up breaking the arm because she wasn’t familiar with the brand I had. She did not take responsibility for her mistake and was not apologetic. She suggested that I call the manufacturer to get a replacement arm and nothing else. The actual optometrist I saw was nice but did not resolve my glasses issue. Another staff member went over my prescription and frame options but again, did not take responsibility for what happened to my original pair of glasses and barely gave a discount on the new frame I selected. I'm very unhappy with the service I received and will not be returning.

I needed glasses for the first time and Dr. Gordon was very helpful. She checked my eyes a couple times, just to make sure my prescription was right. I had an exceptional experience here getting glasses and I will definitely go back.

Everyone in this office was very friendly and helpful. I had been searching for a new optometrist for a long time since moving, and I found Health Plus Optometry not 3 blocks from my new apartment and I'm so glad I did. Their rates for eye exams were very good, and although I don't need new glasses their selection looks very broad and classy. I went in for a general eye exam first, and then not a few weeks later I got something stuck in my eye and it wasn't going away. Luckily, I called and Sarah got me booked in with Dr. Kloepfer less than an hour later! Dr. K was great, he explained what he saw in great detail and thoroughly discussed the recommended treatment plan. It was really nice to hear why he was recommending those things, and gave me a lot of information to go forward with. If I ever have another eye issue I will certainly be back, and I'll be back in another year for my annual exam.

Dr. Gordon saw me a number of times due to an emergency eye infection I had. She was able to see me one hour after I called and provided excellent service explaining everything to me. Today my two children saw Dr. Gordon and love her too! She made it fun for them. Highly recommend her!

Excellent experience! Nice facility, nice staff. Best description is they were friendly, knowledgeable, not rushed but took their time, not pushy and quite informative. Dr Danielle Gordon was super to have examine my eyes. Would recommend for sure!
