So happy that a location made its way to Markham. I trusted the busy times on google and it actually worked. Seems like when people are at work will be the best time to go. No difference in taste between this location and the one downtown. Always consistent. Only thing is that just make sure you have cash. There’s no debit or credit. The original cheesecake is the best and I want to start trying the other ones as I return. Want to try their no bake cheesecake next time.

If you’re looking for a good New York style cheesecake, this is NOT the place to go. They offer a Japanese version of a cheesecake, popular among the Chinese, which doesn’t taste at all like traditional cheesecake. It tastes more like pound cake. It’s also overpriced.

While the staff were courteous and provided great service, since the name change, the cheesecake no longer tastes good. I was quite disappointed. It was quite sweet and mushy. It is nothing like the uncle tetsu's cheesecake, you used to be able to get there before. I think the recipe has changed or maybe they can't sell/make Uncle Testu's cheesecake anymore?

The Japanese cheese cake is amazing. It is light and fluffy which is unique but it actually works.

Delicious Japanese cakes with reasonable prices. They are creamy, but not heavy. Although it's called cafe, there is no inside seats for dine-in.
