Mother's Deli & Bakery

I stopped in to pick up a couple of sandwiches for lunch. The bakery and deli have a nice cozy feel with a few tables for seating. I ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich and the falafel pita. For the sandwich, you select a bun from the basket and it is prepared right away. Wow - the sandwiches were amazing! My sandwich had 2 big pieces of chicken with sweet peppers and sauce. The pita was filled with crunchy falafel, lettuce and sauce. This is going to be my go to place for parmigiana in Markham!

Went in on a whim and asked the owner to reccomend a sandwich. Ended up with a delicious roast beef sandwich on a slightly stale kaiser roll. As far as delis are concerned, i find the food to be fairly priced, given the mountain of meat that was on my sandwich. The staff are friendly and amicable, the environment is comfortable and homely. I will be coming here again.

The food here is terrible. I ordered roast beef with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The roast beef was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were disgusting and the vegetables were frozen and were no better than frozen veggies at Costco. Do not come here.

Amazing sandwich platters!, pasta dishes are perfect. The owners are friendly, more then accommodating, customer service is an extremely hard job yet these people have mastered it! Haven't had time to try other dishes but soon

I ordered spaghetti and the food was drenched in water. I also ordered some roast beef and most people usually like it juicy and medium but mine came dry and overcooked. Both meals came with a juice box and muffin. The juice box was lava hot. I don't know if this place has heard of a refrigerator but they should honestly get one. My muffin was hollow. You expect a nice thick muffin but when I bit into it, I only bit into air.
