Story

The founder of Bellafornia comes to the table with 30+ years operating experience from owning Michel's Bakery Cafe in Yorkdale and Commerce Court. Ali Ghadimi, President and Partner Maz Davanloo, General Manager and Store Operator have created the evolution of cafe. Bellafornia is dedicated to having local partnerships in all areas of gourmet produce, to roasted coffees, tea, premium beer, wines, and cocktails, to our selection of cakes. Enjoy our California-inspired experience from 7am-11pm daily with our open kitchen concept, centre-stage oven, and cafe bar lounge and dining zone, be it brunch, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We had an amazing experience here for our anniversary. The owner was super sweet and our server Lina was cute. Lovely environment and beautifully design. Clean washrooms. Dishes were plated esthetically, taste was great. Personally the calamari could be seasoned a tad bit more. All other dishes were fantastic. The wine list could expand a bit more for an Italian restaurant but it was still good. The owner promised me fresh ground pepper for the next time. I also wished there were chili oil for the next time I order pasta. Overall, definitely a gem to discover! Underground parking available.
High Recommendation! Loved the food. Loved the atmosphere. The service was phenomenal, very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food is unique but comforting. I could tell they used high quality fresh ingredients. Everything was beautifully presented but most importantly truly delicious. One of my new favourite restaurants : Trust me & order the Sangria!!!
Wow, Bellafornia was such a pleasant surprise! So glad we stopped in for dinner. I ordered the salmon with vegetables without the potato and it was cooked to perfection! The drinks were delicious too. The owner and staff were wonderfully friendly. I’m looking forward to eating here again and trying the other things on their menu. This place is a must try if you’re in the area.
Every bite of food had unique taste. The ambience was so amazing. Affordable, clean, open concept kitchen. Wow is all I can say. Go visit for yourself to get such an authentic experience.
This place is amazing for anything , friends gathering, parties, formal or informal meetings, DATES and even studying, the staff are extremely polite, friendly, sharp and responsive. The food, OMG is extraordinary delicious , fresh, and tempting. This is one of the restaurants that I can go every day. Highly recommend you won’t regret it
Ever since the management changed and chef/staff/menu went through an overhaul, this is my favorite spot. They never seem to run out of Belgian Moon which pair great with their Pizzas. They make the dough in-house, if you decided to order the Pizza, do not forget to ask for the hot sauce Jalapeno Oil, it's beyond amazing!
Awesome food and staff. Pretty spacious and amazing interior as well. Pricing is very reasonable. Good location. We had a great time Highly recommend.
100% would recommend Bellafornia for anyone who wants to have a memorable dining experience! Amir is a GREAT manager and host. He was very kind, helpful and accommodating. I brought my grandma and cousins 20 of us in total and we had wonderful service, dishes came in a timely manner, and the food tasted excellent! Aside from a little too much salt in the pasta dishes, everything else was of exceptional quality! My favourite was the Nuova Scuola as seen in the photo. The truffle taste added a nice touch to the gnocchi. I will definitely be coming back!
Im surprised why this restaurant has so many high reviews? It’s not bad but really needs some improvement on the food since it was mediocre. Service was also so questionable. We made a reservation 2 weeks ago and they questioned us if we made a reservation last minute? Like no we didn’t. We have the open table emails to prove it. Burrata needed flakey salt and fresh cracked pepper as well as some sort of olive oil and balsamic. Pasta needed to get rid of the excessive onion!
A pleasant experience with fantastic and delicious foods n drinks. Tbh I have held so many business meetings and friends gathering here , and had amazing experiences. Cheers to many more success and happiness Parking: Free parking just down of the restaurant
