Story

The La Rocca tradition of dessert making began 60 years ago in Naples, Italy. La Rocca Creative Cakes was established in Canada in 1987, continuing the family tradition. We had our first bakery and retail location set up in Woodbridge, Ontario. As demand for our desserts grew, we moved to a larger facility. Today, we are located in Richmond Hill, Ontario in a state of the art facility that is BRC certified.

We take pride in the fact that every La Rocca cake is designed and hand-crafted with artistry and flair, delivering an exceptional taste experience. We insist that each cake we create is made with the finest ingredients like real butter, fresh eggs, 35% whipped cream and rich European chocolate.

I have been getting the caramel brownie chocolate cheesecake for my birthday every year for many, many years. This Christmas season I bought three of them from different Brampton locations for various occasions and all three were tasteless and very wrong in consistency. I’m so disappointed!! I will now have to find a new favourite as at $30 a cake and 3 bad cakes in a row - I have to say goodbye.
I bought my cake from Safeway but the company who makes it has to have the credits for the quality of this cake! It was excellent! Delicious and authentic! Thank you la Rocca family!
The cakes sold at Walmart and Loblaws are suddenly 50% base and 50 % mousse. They used to have a very thin layer of chocolate cake at the bottom with mostly mousse on top like the actual drawing on the packaging which made it worth the price tag. I think they should change the packaging cause it's misleading.
I wanted to take a moment to tell you that I had the pleasure of experiencing their Cookie Dough Cake. Oh my, what a wonderful cake. It is like an explosion of flavour in your mouth. I loved all the different textures as well. My daughters purchased it for Mother's Day, it was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Keep up the good work!!

Cakes at La Rocca are always fresh, moist, and delicious!! I have never purchased the same pastry twice, only because so far all their pastries are magnificent! I often grab coffee on the go, it's smooth, strong, and exactly what I need to kick off my day.
after I had my first la rocca cake " the greatest hit" I was hooked on their cakes, I am not into sweets or cakes but their cakes changed me! I tried the strawberries and cream chiffon cake and its extremely good the cream is rich and delicious and the cake is light and fluffy. I cant wait to try the Jamocha almond cake on my birthday, I am buying my own cake this year! their chocolate cheese cake is really good too! I tried the truffle royal cake but I didn't like it, maybe because it was in the fridge too long in the grocery store. I wish they would make smaller cakes for people who don't want to eat a whole big cake! or sell per slice or even sell a box that has different slices. I want to try so many different cakes!
La Rocca's Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake is quite literally the best cheesecake I have ever had in my entire life. I buy one almost weekly and eat the whole thing to myself. The flavors and textures together are just so perfect it's unreal. Do yourself a favor and buy one..or two... and send one my way too
I love sweet stuff but I don't like it when it's very too sweet. This cake was amazing. One of my friends bought it for us and because of the way it looks I thought it should be very sweet but it was delicious and soft with enough sweetness. Then from the box I found the location and I would like to go there and try more stuff.
