What is going on with soy sauce? Miso soup? I got a little amount of soy sauce for my lunch of 12 pieces of sushi; you need to pay extra for another tiny one! Miso soup is barely halfway full pictures, the SAME, as my coworker also ordered from there. My California roll doesn't look right. People dine in, they get soy sauce as much as they want, and they pay extra! Takeout saves your table space, service from the server, and dirty dishes! But to steal from them in such a sneaky way is shameful!
A little sushi / korean restaurant tucked away is now one of my go to spots. Always clean, great lighting, and friendly service. If you're a fan of creamy, saucy speciality rolls this place is for you!! Although, we haven't tried their Korean dishes, we can say that their Japanese dishes are AMAZING! Good quality good price. [Haru Roll] - This is the dish that has this place my GO TO spot. Baked scallops in a spicy creamy sauce slightly baked over top of California Rolls. For me, I am a huge California base roll girl with toppings, especially if those topping consist of anything creamy, saucy or fresh! I don't remember exactly what rolls we usually get as it differs depending on our mood that day, however every roll we've ordered here so far has been amazing. Big rolls, packed with ingredients and big slices of sashimi. Overall, amazing good, amazing service, good quality and good price. Highly highly recommend, especially if you live in the area!
We got the 01 sushi tray with a special request for more shrimp sushi. The food was good and lady was so nice. Highly recommend!
My favorite sushi restaurant in the area. Food is good quality. I usually get a sushi boat and udon, and it never disappoints. Service is also friendly but when the restaurant gets busy it does at times feel like there's not enough servers. Price isn't cheap but most sushi restaurants aren't. I would say for the taste and quality of the food the price is worth it.
First time dining at this restaurant as I was around the neighborhood. Its located in a small but easily accessible plaza. Although the restaurant size is not big, I went on a Sunday night and wasn't full. Haru has a large menu of sushi rolls as well as sets. For two people we opted for TR01 - Sushi and Roll Tray Small. This portion is totally good for 2 people, we even packed out 5 leftover rolls! The sushi assortment was decent and I enjoyed their sushi rice, in texture and flavour. Likewise, the sushi itself were delicious. It included salad and miso soup too. They also gave us complimentary tasting of 2 salmon skin sushi on the house - those were alright.. but it's free anyway right! Overall service was good and food cam pretty quickly.
We got the 40 piece sashimi and sushi platter take out. We've been going to Haru throughout covid. It's been a few months since we last visited and unfortunately quality has suffered significantly. They are already on the priceier side, and for a similar price, you can get more bang for your buck from AI Sushi for take out. We also experienced unethical and quite frankly illegal business practice regarding tipping. Save yourself the grief and go to another restaurant.
Fresh fish and excellent customer service rule the day here. Excellent attention to detail coupled with love wine care go into every serving here. All of the sushi pieces have an excellent ratio of fish to rice, making for an enjoyable dinner here. You're going to spend more than an AYCE, but the quality and assembly of each piece will be infinitely better.
Me and my friends were surprised how great their food are!!!! Although they are run by Korean, but the sushi are really authentic in Japanese way. Their sashimi are fresh and cold; they have variety of sushi rolls and they are all full of ingredients. Will definitely come back!! The Uni was so great that we ordered 6 piece in total!!
The waitress blatantly came up to us and demanded a tip because they don't a charge service fee. Mind you that you cannot tip by amount there, it has to be a certain percentage. Not to mention all she did was bring our food to our table once and that's it. It's not an all you can eat place where they keep serving you. And then she asked us to not dine in there next time.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Unique menu items like their Haru Roll spicy baked scallop on a california roll Great lunch deals! 10% off when you pay with cash Very prompt and friendly service To be perfectly honest, I actually love ALL sushi places as long as they serve a good spicy salmon roll haha. I'm pretty easy to please in that regard for the standard Korean-run Japanese restaurants ~ What do I recommend from here? -[GOLD STAR ROLL] $17.99 for 10 pcs This roll consists of deep-fried eel, deep-fried scallop, onion, crabmeat, mayo, cucumber, and avocado! Trust me when I say this is a wonderful combination of flavors This is definitely one of my favorite rolls that they make~ -[TIARA ROLL] $11.99 for 8 pcs This is a really delicious vegetarian roll that consists of yam tempura on the inside with baked mozzarella cheese on top It's such a unique offering and it's amazingly yummy in every way. -[LC9] $14.99 for 7 pcs sushi and 8 pcs spicy salmon roll Honestly, this is such a good deal! I was stuffed after finishing this lunch set but in the happiest way. Totally ready for my food coma after any of their lunch sets I like that their spicy salmon rolls actually have a kick to them! I also like the selection of fish that the use for their sushi because I'm honestly not that picky when it comes to fish. I just slap a bit of ginger and wasabi on each piece, and I'm good to go! Give this place a try if you're in the area~
