Came on a Sunday night. Had to make reservations any it does get quite busy. The servers were helpful and informative, explaining the various cuts of meats and how long it would take to cook each type. But seriously, I forgot after the cooking the first cut. Might be easier if they just leave the instructions. The meat quality was very good, and the come to replace the grill plate. Some cuts of meats were a little over marinated and too salty though, but it was still good.
I’ve been to the North York location and this is my first time visiting the Richmond Hill location and it is not disappointing! I came here for their special lunch menu: $16 2 meat choice +salad+rice or $20 3 meat choice +salad+rice, unfortunately they no longer offer this menu but the manager gave us an exception and offered it to us for the same price. The salad is huge and the meat is very good quality. It’s a super good value meal. The manager says they are working on the new lunch menu, hope it will be as nice as this one!
Alex was our server, he explained everything very well. Food was very good. My first time at this restaurant and it's the best Japanese restaurant I've been to. Miso soup was terrific. It's the type of restaurant where you grill your own food at your table. Super clean and organized.
Food was great and worth the price! We got the $95 course for 2 people and it was more than enough, with amazing variety attached picture doesn't show everything!. Eric was our server, and he was phenomenal, his customer service was exceptional. Left the restaurant with very happy and satisfied.
I used to pick one of their combos, surprisingly they have premium All You Can Eat now, so I tried the $72 one, I think it’s kind of worth it, giving the fact that the inflation currently is so high. I was so lucky to have the waitress Forest, she’s really devoted to work. She’s hard-working and patient. I love her so much.Recommended dishesJapanese BBQ, Edamame, Skirt Steak, Bibimbap
Superb Customer Service - 10pt out of a 5pt System I personally find that the customer service level at this place is at par as some of those better one at Disney World – I am happy to give 10 points out of 5 points system. Not kidding. All servers are totally energetic & cheerful and I must mention my server, Nina, who has the perfect attitude to make the whole evening an enjoyable. This was my first time visit and I will 100% come back.
The restaurant is located at 2/F. We ordered 2 lunch set. Although I am not ordering the best part of the beef, the marinated sauce and the dipping soy sauce makes a big difference. Interior space is stylish with black/copper pendant lights, comfortable and spacious.
We finished everything that we ordered, plus free ice cream for a 5-star google review. But their food deserves a 5 star anyways so I wouldn’t mind to give them a good review. The service is good. The speed of serving the food is fast. The beef rice came with the chef’s favorite is the best! It’s a good experience overall.
This is my first time to visit but unfortunately I have to said it's not worth to go. 1. The combo set is not worth at all, including four types of meet but without beef tongue. 2. If you want to eat Japanese BBQ, I can pay 40 yo go all you can eat. If I pay more for less meat I deserve better quality. However the meat is fail. It just some regular beef parts even worset than some Koerea Restaurants. 3. Yes, their food is fail but serves is perfect. Very friendly and kindly. They help me and my family a lots, also will tell me how to cook with the meat. Conclusion: Expensive price with fair quality meat. You can pay 45 to eat ALL YOU CAN EAT rather than eat with here.
I would give 1 star less for this location than the one in downtown location. This location is more spacious, seating area is quite nice. The meat is actually not bad. However, the drink menu offers less choices than the downtown location. The meat cut is more fragmentary except the steak. Maybe the cut was too thin and the small pieces fell under the pan.
