Guelph Lake Conservation Area

I've been going here for awhile now. Great place to go camping, fishing, kayaking or a hike. They have a swimming area here too. Clean park. We'll maintained

Had a good experience over summer of 2017. Nice layout and person at the booth gave appropriate literature and information. The park is well maintained and cleaned regularly.

Just big enough to call it a lake. Lovely grassy areas. Nice spot for geese to land. Pleasant camping. Friendly people gather here. I would suggest bringing a rake if staying a night 🌙 in the field camping spots. (Other camp sites are normally tidy. ) Nice place for a picnic.

We actually came here because our favourite Park was full but Guelph Lake is a beautiful Park, the views of the lake are just breath taking! The showers aren't well ventilated so there's definitely a bit of mold on the grout and there are only a handful of showers to serve the 300ish sites. That's pretty common in parks though. The sites are big enough to accommodate a reasonable family trip and there are group sites to be had as well for bigger groups. Quiet time is strictly observed and there are plenty of staff the ensure everything runs smoothly. We will absolutely be going back with a camera!

Though I hate camping with the burning passion of a thousand suns, I've enjoyed my annual experience at Guelph Lake. Good amenities available, relatively affordable, and close enough to civilization to drive for supplies. The only fault? So much goose excrement!
