Nice and easy trails to walk for anyone and any age. Stroller friendly, pet friendly. However feels very commercialized and too many people. Trails are or were incredibly busy. Dogs barking everywhere. So if you are looking for a more remote hike and peaceful outing this is probably not the place. If you have small kids and want a family friendly place then this is the place for you. Great concession stand that is open until 8:30pm but it only takes cash. They have an ATM machine but it charges a $3 service fee! Swimming area is very small with a decent size beach. Lots of boats to rent but lake is not very big. Again great for beginners or a casual outing.

Fab place to go take a long easy walk. Park your car and head downhill to the mill ruins which look rather new. Walk by the ping and take the pothole trail, which is a fun walk with lots of flora through the woods... walk by the lake to the beach before finally making it back to tour car. Great place to camp out in summer. Tip: carry a bottle of water- u may just need it!

The park is very beautiful and allows beautiful walks through the woods, the lake has a beautiful beach where you can swim or rent canoes and kayaks. There are vast green areas where you can do picnics, there are toilets and changing rooms, there is a place where they sell food. In the park there is also a campsite and there are many areas to park the car. A great place to spend a nice day with your family !

Great place for a hike and picnic. Canoe rentals are $15-20 and take an hour to paddle to and from the waterfall. There is a large sand beach with a swimming area that's full of families. There are two hikes that surround the lake and they are pretty easy. There is also a place to buy food. Huge line to get your car in though so go early. It's also $7/adult to enter the park that you pay in the front. Bring your bathing suit. 3-4 hrs is plenty but can stay 6.

A nice place for a little hike or paddle. There are small caves to explore, you can walk into one pretty far on the south east side. Lots of wildlife - the blue Heron is a common sight in the summer-mink, turtles, hawks . It takes about an hour to walk the big loop and paddle the lake. Watch out for the geese!
