Royal Brock Hotel

The lobby was nice and the staff were very friendly. My only complaints have to be with the cleaning of the rooms. I found that the rooms were a little bit dirty. My other complaint is that I found that the breakfast lounge was very dark.

This is a good hotel for the price. The rooms are clean and it seems to have been recently updated. I had a few problems with the wifi but that may have been my computer. It's right across the street from the University of Guelph, so it's well placed and near most of the major bus lines.

This place definitely needs an update. You can tell the rooms aren't used often, but are actually quite spacious. Staff were fabulous, even when we told them the entire south wing smelled of cigarette smoke.

Was just ok and honestly kind of pricey for what you get. The place is a little run down and needs an uplift and fresh coat of paint. That being said the staff at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast wasn't anything to be excited about but at least it is available as an option. Overall a decent budget hotel but I'd check other hotels nearby because if they're the same price id stay somewhere else!

Located across the street from the University of Guelph. A friend lives here and I visit regularly between classes. Rooms are well kept and decently sized. Comes with bathroom and TV service as well as minifridge. There are two floors, in which the rooms either have small patios outside, or balconies.
