These guys are great. My son is big into RC racing trucks. The team at Great Hobbies knows their stuff and are a real pleasure to chat with. We really appreciate their help every time we visit. I've shopped at other stores and they don't even compare to these guys.

My husband bought a brand new remote nov.28 we brought it back Dec.22. With box. Not even a scratch.nIt's never even been used. Just to technical for us. We read the manual and pressed some buttons and put it back in the box.nThe guy said it's to damaged... how... when it's brand new not a scratch, dent, nothing. It was under the 30 day guarantee customer satisfaction. All we even wanted was in store credit so we could purchase a new one that wasn't so complicated to understand and function.nI think we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Just trying to support local businesses. We can purchase all this online right from manufacturers.nn***Book looks brand new to me... you can tell it's been opened but that's about it... nothing wrong with the product.

Bought an RC Plane for my boy before Christmas and was told to return if needed to help set it up.nJust returned today after my boy had trouble with setting it up. Drove 40 mins from St Albert only to be told they were too busy to help. When I pointed out there was only one other group in the store an FOUR employees I was told, “well it’s not busy now but it was”. Told next week would be more convenient…probably a bit less convenient than the 3hrs of driving I’ll have had to do. Don’t bother with these guys, Hobby Wholesale have always given me fantastic customer service.

It's not a wonder Hobby Wholesale is busier and all around more successful, the staff here are absolutely useless. I went in today Dec 17 at 2pm approx. 2 of the 3 staff were busy helping customers, the 3rd was just holding the counter in place making small talk with what can only be assumed as a friend. Not a single staff member even acknowledged my existence in the 5-10min I stood there. So I left, without making the purchase I needed. For the 30 seconds it would have taken to help me out, cause I called in advance to check stock and confirm parts and numbers. What a joke.
