GoodLife Fitness Calgary South Pointe

I recently switched from Spa Lady gymvmt to Goodlife. Been with spa lady for 15 years but the location is not convenient for me anymore after I moved. I love Goodlife! It’s definitely a much more expensive membership even with my work discount $700+ for the year but I would say it’s worth it if you go a lot lol. I love how the staff practice and follow covid provincial guidelines, and most of the staff still wear mask. I constantly see them cleaning the machines each time I’m there, thank you! I love the classes body attack with Carla is insane!, body pump. I love how there’s pool sauna and steam room! I love everything about it so far! It’s also clean

i love this location because of the pool and steam room. place is always clean. i love that you can see the mountains while on the treadmill. i would have given it a 5 star but the hot tub is never working i guess it takes more then 3 weeks to clean it.

Brand new and excellent. Amazing cardio section, excellent push and pull machines, turf zone, and plenty of benches / free weights. Also some good extras with hot yoga room, dry suana, nice showers. Staff was also friendly and helpful! Wish I had this gym close to my home but will visit when back in Calgary!!!

Used to frequent this gym but they removed the swimming pool this summer on their new location so I will be needing to find a new one. Otherwise pretty solid staff and service.

While the staff members are friendly, the machines could be better maintained. The steam room and showers have a bit of a mold smell. Otherwise, I get a good workout here.

A little disappointed they’re not a true 24hr 365 days a year gym. Just wasted my gas coming at 11 pm June 30 to find out they closed at 10pm because of Canada Day. Maybe I should have signed up with Golds because they’re open

Ashy is the best personal trainer. she is extremely knowledgeable trainer. I really like how she gives me tips and tricks to get the most out of the workout. I highly recommend her for faster results towards your goal.

Pretty good, I like this location the best. I just wish it was 24hours due to my busy lifestyle. People tend to not put their weights back which is rude and low class, I make 8 figures and deserve respect everywhere I go. Did I have to financially step on people to get where I am at? Sure, but regardless of that, this gym is still great. I will continue to come here as much as possible until I get my 8 pack. This place is almost always clean, and the night cleaners here do an awesome job and deserve the utmost respect from everyone. The machines are all in pretty good working order which I like. When they are damaged they are usually repaired quickly which is another great thing about this. Employees are pretty good, I have not had any issues with them so far. Parking is great too, I drive a quarter million dollar car so I need to be comfortable knowing that I can park it safely and that no envious individuals will commit an act of vandalism since I work hard for all the things I purchase in life. So yeah in general pretty good place and no crime, which is great too.

If there was a 0 star, i would give it. Being a member for a long time and considering the times and goodlife asking members to be double vaccinated and provide QR reader and Id, Having done that at middle of November, i was told that i did not have to do it again, a week later I was told I had to set up my QR reader again, I was upset as I come in early morning and just wanting to work out and go abouts my day. The staff is terrible with no service skills, I have towel service on my account and I always had to ask for a towel. I spoke to General Manager and explained how important it is for me in the morning not to be harrased and she said she put a fast pass on my account, 6 days later I got stopped again and I was told my QR reader is not set up. I emailed the General Manager again and she never accepted responsibility for her staff and didn't even realize that her staff is not reviewing history and making the member experience terrible. I have never encountered such poor service at any health club. At this time during Covid, you would think they would go a step futher to make the member experience better but its the opposite. The worst Manager i have ever encountered to not realize the situation and even asking General Manager to please help so i don't get stopped and harrased, did not make a difference. The worst facility in my opinion, Constantly the steam room is not working, the soaps dispensers are empty, there is no shorts dryer after going for a swim. Makes no sense how she is allowed to run this facility. I have canceled my membership and hopefully this will help others not to be harrassed when going for a work out.

I am very happy with this gym over all my other Goodlife’s as it is cleaner and more happy environment super happy good ppl and lots of roll models and encouragement over canon medows goodlife is dark and no music and no one smiles and just feels like it is a church not a gym !!. This gym by 1000% better hands down I drive 45 mins out of my way to go to the gym
