Golden Horse Restaurant 澳門街

This was my first visit, and I was very impressed. Despite being very busy the service was fast and friendly. The food came out fast and was delicious. I was particularly fond of their Borsch, which wasn't excessively salted, and had a nice amount of meat and vegetables. They also did a good job on the baked spaghetti, which I consider a classic dish for this style of restaurant.

I never dine in, but this review is based more on take out and quick ambiance while I wait for food. The atmosphere is very nice and comforting for dine in for families or even a date. I usually order their baked porkchop on rice/spaghetti or baked seafood with creme sauce. Sometimes the ladies dont understand English and have to put you on hold till they find someone who can understand you if you dont speak the native tongue. Other than that orders are always correct and no issue with staff.

I used to like this place. food was good and service nice. However,on Jan 23 evening, after whole day moving my stuff to my new place, then went for dinner at the restaurant. Right I finished my rice noodle, i felt upset in stomach and went restroom . i threw out all i ate ...Then I never go back to the restaurant again.

A little bit disappointed on their afternoon tea menu. They didn't have deep fried pork chop and not many other choices. Since they didn't have what I want and the prices were close to lunch menu, I ended up order lunch instead. Definitely will not choose here for afternoon tea next time.

I dine at this Hong Kong styled Golden Horse Restaurant 澳門街 at least twice a week for two years. The menu has many choices including inexpensive prix fixe meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is authentic Cantonese cuisine and tasty. I am taking now a seafood and BBQ pork fried noodle prix fixe dinner with a soup and a coffee for $12.99 only. The menu is bilingual with Chinese and English. The spacious café is right at 404 exit Elgin Mills westbound with plenty of free parking and free internet. I found it better than taking a Big Mac and a coffee at McDonald’s just for a few more bucks!
