The Keg

This Keg is a very staple place to go to. their steaks and seafood are always cooked exactly to how I would like it. their food is fresh. The staff are knowledgeable on both what to recommend for food as well as wine pairings. There may be times finding parking may be difficult and there is always a dinner rush there where I would have to wait a little bit for a seat, but the atmosphere there is very inviting and professional. I usually order their fillet mignon, prime rib, top sirloin, or steak & lobster meals. filling, well cooked. a great way to treat yourself.

My husband and I have been to The Keg twice and had similar experiences each time. It's best to reserve a table, otherwise if you turn up after 5pm you will have to wait 40 minutes at least or just go somewhere else. It's also packed to the rafters and very noisy - mostly business people staying in nearby hotels. We both had steaks, myself a filet and my husband the prime rib. They were cooked perfectly, BUT came with a dry baked potato (with sour cream and chives) and very basic vegetables. To charge over $40 for that is very poor value indeed. I also asked for a peppercorn sauce which was watery and grey, as opposed to how it should be done. Very disappointing. The desserts were better, my husband had ice cream and I had a cheesecake - nothing spectacular but tasty nonetheless. I'm afraid when I can make such a simple meal myself at home, we won't be going back to The Keg. The service was good, but the food average and very overpriced.

The Keg has consistent high quality steaks, and exceptional customer service across their multi locations. This time, we were celebrating a special occasion. My fiancee had not planned anything with the staff.. Jenna N had noticed his proposal, and surprised us with a congratulatory cake with lit candle! Jenna N's customer service was great, friendly and efficient all evening. With her surprise at the end, she made our special occasion even MORE SPECIAL. :) This is truly amazing customer service.

Went on a Saturday night, place was packed and they don't take reservations on weekends which is a huge disappointment. We waited 40 minutes until we finally got a table. Our waitress was really friendly, we've never been disappointed in the customer service offered by the Keg. Food was ok, I ordered the New York steak medium rare, and it just felt like it was missing something.. The veggies on the side were extremely underwhelming but the twice baked potato was perfection. Overall, not a bad evening, but not amazing either, just very average. Accepting reservations would be nice and offering better veggies on the side would help.

First time going to a keg, we went for a "date night". It was so much better than I thought. Love the dimly lit room, the staff were incredibly helpful and the cauliflower steak (which I had) was awesome.
