Have been to Thai Basil 3 times in roughly 5 months. Each time I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and decor. Servers are polite and attentive, making sure my water cup was always full (especially important while eating green curry!). My go to dish is definitely the green curry but my fellow diners have always enjoyed their dishes too. I also really enjoy their Tom Yum soup. Meat skewer appetizers are nice as are the spring rolls and mango salad. Will return for sure.

A bit of a hit and miss menu here. They do some items very well such as the Thai basil egg plant & minced pork, however other items such as the Pad Thai leave much to be desired. They also have a downtown location which I have yet to try. Weekday lunch time can get quite busy here with limited staffing. Parking is also a challenge during peak hours in this plaza. The decor is excellent, really looks like some of the items have been imported directly from Thailand.

Extremely friendly and fast service. We had the red and green curry dishes, both excellent. Our grilled calamari was slightly rubbery. Nice atmosphere and decor-casual and cozy.

New review: Menu change. I was really fond of this establishment. They removed lunch combos on Saturday and Sunday. My regular Mussaman Curry Beef brisket has now gone from $11.95, to $16.95 with rice having to be added on for an extra $2. Very dissappointed. I live at least 30km from here and can only come on the weekends. Definitely not worth paying a premium $19 for curry and rice. Very dissappointed.

Tried the lunch special - massaman curry. the tom yum soup was pretty good, but the rest of the food was cold when it came out. there were a few piece of beef brisket and maybe one potato. the sauce was way too sweet. they give you a huge portion of rice though, i guess to fill you up. the quality/quantity seems to have decreased over the years.
