Grand old trees, a playground for younger kids, and a basketball court are the main features of this quiet park. The level grassy field is good for throwing frisbee or kicking a soccer ball. A few benches. No bathroom. A good green space for the local residents.
Grand old horse chestnut trees shelter the east side of Glen Park, a pleasant park to walk around or rest in. The rolling grass areas are often filled will the laughter of children at the playground and adjacent school. The park was named after Glen Drive which in turn was named for the ravine or “glen” in a portion of the street. The park was officially named on December 11, 1930.
It's a nice little park in a quiet neighbourhood. Nothing fancy but adequate. Playground: Ample space and equipment for kids to play, since it's located adjacent to an elementary school. It's well kept, very clean. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly only in the evening, no dogs allowed between 8 am and 5 pm.
Good park for kids. Although the play structures are on the older side but still fun to play. Not a lot of people on a Sunday which is great.
Spongy field in places but largely clear. Playground is full of playground fun. Lots of room for kids to prance and delight in life while parents watch. No bathroom onsite Average amounts of dog poo from bad pet owners.
A beautiful park to bring the kids or just walk the quiet surrounding neighborhoods.
I go here almost every day. Nice little playground at the annex school. One of the last strongholds for Blue Imp, as all the metal equipment is slowly being replaced in the city for better or worse.
Park is a little tired, but still provides good variety of playground structures for school aged children over a gravel surface. There's a good sized field to run around and uncovered open basketball court. Adjoining school, Charles Dickens Annex has a bit of covered concrete area when it rains.
Literally this place blows your mind in fall season. Beautiful AF
Local park. Not that many dogs. Lots of kids and open space. Has a basket ball court, swings for kids 10 and under, climbing structure for i amd under, big green space. Good for tag. If it rains ... still can play hopscotch by the school under the cover. Yep. Cant get away from dogs... but there are positive happy people walking around the park going counter clockwise/ clockwise.
