This park is right along Kingsway but still has a sense of refuge. Level grass field for soccer or frisbee. Washrooms were open on a rainy day in February. Lots of big trees with benches and tables dotted around the playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, and empty wading pool. You’ll find a cement ‘game board’ that could be used for checkers or chess if you have big playing pieces Right next to the community garden is a fenced in cement court with hockey goals. Something for everyone.
Nice and clean park for everyone to enjoy. In the summer, the park is always full of children and adults enjoying the park. Before COVID, the park was used in the summer on weekends for some kind of children's soccer tournament. There is a tennis court, basketball, and floor hockey for adults and youth to enjoy. There's a nice playground for children to play in as well. Pre-COVID there is a small little pool that families were able to play in. There is also a Boys and Girls Club and a Family Place around the corner on St. George Street and 13th Avenue side. Many shops in the area including Matchsticks Coffee, Lions Den, Brooklyn Pizza, Le Faux Bourgeois, Sal y Limon, Los Cuervos, and Savio Volpe.
Popular playing field, wash & change rooms, small basketball court, children's playground, free tennis and hockey courts, Community Garden---bordered by lovely old trees. Alongside Kingsway, one of Vancouver's busiest main roads---going east, connects to Southeast Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and eventually, Hwy 1 / Trans-Canada
Good park for playing basketball
Great park for tennis, basketball, or soccer. The basketball hoops don’t have netting which is annoying but it’s less busy than other parks to play on. It’s also good to note that there are no full courts, it’s 3 half courts instead. Definitely worth checking out to play sports or even bring a dog.
Nice big park with tennis courts, a basketball hoop, a soccer goal, a community garden, and a small playground. More importantly it has an area where you can openly drink alcohol too.
Very nice park with beautiful trees and good shade. Good playground for kids and open field to hanging out or play with friends. Close to nice cafes, so you can grab something and sit in the park.
Grass can be greener. Lots of space for kids to play. Very few picnic tables
My childhood Park. Love it, but it looks so small when your an adult. Nevertheless its quaint, playground is quite catered to very young kids between 1 to 5, a shame. Use to have more for older kids when I was growing up. More swings for babies and toddlers then before.
I love this park bcuz it has a open washroom year round. As a parent who takes my child on adventures in the park it has been super handy for the past 4years. From diapers to potty training Robson Park washroom has been a life saver! Thanks to everyone upkeeps it, its really clean and free of illicit activities if you will.
