Just another beautiful park, not too close to any super busy roads but There are a lot of rude people who visit this park. Playground: Yes pretty small Restrooms: No Dog-friendliness: I all ways see people walking there dogs Picnic area: No grass
This welcoming, tree-lined park is a quiet place for an informal game of soccer, or simply a place to rest on the way home. The rolling grassy hills are perfect for daydreaming or enjoying a picnic lunch. The park was officially named on October 6, 1975 after Sir Issac Brock, a British General Administrator of Upper Canada and a Canadian hero at the War of 1812. A small park near Kingsway and Nanaimo streets with a large field and a small playground.
Playground is a little dated but has plans for an upgrade. The field is well suited for events and games that require a lot of space. There is a paved path around the park. Not the most scenic of parks.
I love it, we go almost daily with our toddler and baby boy, lots of space to run and free play
Whenever I go there, I am constantly bombarded with insults about my clothing and appearance and just yesterday had smoke blown in my face at around 7:00pm. Now, though I do keep going there it is only for a quick walk so that I can get some level of cardio in. And before you accuse me of being a Karen, I haven’t done anything to these people except for be in the same place as them as I always have my headphones in and determination to get my walk in. However, as this has been happening for the span of a few months I am getting increasingly tired of this behaviour from people for - again - no reason other than me literally existing in a Star Wars shirt or presenting in a typically feminine way.
Small local park with children's playground and fenced street hockey enclosure. Large level field.
It's a decent park given its smaller size. Grassy field in the middle with a circular walk path around it. There is a small children's playground and an enclosed court. Great for walking your dog.
Have been here twice in two weeks. A small park but great for tabies and toddlers. If you also have a child/children who wants to learn how to bike or scooter this is a good place to do it too. It's not as busy as other parks and has a huge green space for other activities. The playground has a swing for kids 1 to 3 and a medium sized play structure.
This field needs a restroom for the teams that play on this field. It's fine for men but for women this field needs a restroom readily available. Just kidding. Both men & women need a restroom at this field when t and are playing. Please and Thank you.
Not really a public park, it is, but more so for the lucky neighbours whose backyards just back into this. Probably not to have a football game. For decent relaxing spot, best to come up fr side street and park in the lane.
