Great park with a feature playground, tennis courts, community garden, soccer field, and basketball hoops that double as a skateboard area. Well designed. Well kept. Colourful details. Tables and benches strategically placed. Bathrooms *closed for the winter*
This park was perfect for my two kids. My son played at the gorgeous basketball court and my little daughter ran to playground. Some tables for snacks, water stand, trampoline, sand play.. everything was there. Furthermore there are tennis courts beside pickle ball court. How beautiful place! I love here
Great park for the kids and even though it's right next to a kinda busy road the have good fencing all around the park. Nice trees Playground: Really great park Restrooms: Just go a cross the street Dog-friendliness: I didn't see anyone with a dog or animal Picnic area: Pretty clean and not too bad
Another new playground to explore for my 3 year old son. Lots of climbers, sand areas and water feature good for summer. A new adventurous slides. Basketball and tennis courts. Good for skateboarding too. A park that has a lot to offer. My only concern is parking lot. Some it seems no parking and only for residents.
The recent renovations are great. A big slide, lots of climbers, and two trampolines. There's also a great area to play basketball and tennis, and a community garden.
Newly renovated for one year. Inconvenient and complain is that the Washrooms are not open in Winter. Cannot stay long in the park. Seniors are very disappointed as they really need the washrooms. At least a mobile washroom is better than none.
Brewers is a diverse park terraced into three areas. A playing field, tennis and basketball courts, and a grassy area with playground and wading pool are separated by tree-lined walkways and stepped plantings. This is a good place to visit if you want to relax in the shade, play a game of tennis, or push your kids on the swings. This park was one of the first areas set aside for parkland in the former municipality of South Vancouver several different municipalities were amalgamated into the City of Vancouver in 1929. The park was named for William John Brewer, the first reeve of South Vancouver at the time of its incorporation in 1892.
Such a cool little playground!! There’s a really cool sand and water play area. Basketball courts and such a nice overall design with benches and wood. Lots of climbing web structures. Love it - except my one critique is there isn’t any slide for little ones. The only one is massive and impossible for a parent to climb up with their toddler. Most climbing equipment is too advanced for them too. My 18 month old was very very upset she couldn’t go on a slide. Her big brother loved it here. But I won’t come again due to her frustration. :. A little section for smaller kids would have made this really perfect.
Another Gem of a park totally revamped by the city last year! New tennis courts with hitting wall one court marked for Pickleball and very well used/organized as such; new playground; new picnic area; new basketball hoop; nice new open field; fabulously sculpted into the environment slope! Gotta love these well-planned community beautiful spots throughout the city. Bravo Parks Board for this oasis!
Nice local community park. The playground equipment are newer and modern for kids. Plenty of green space for soccer and sport activities
