Cute little park nestled in this residential area. Came here to get our kid some exercise. Some nice shade provided by the trees in this hot late afternoon. Enough benches for parents to sit and watch. The equipment is good enough. Unfortunately somebody left their plastic slide from in this park. There is a water fountain to provide some refreshment. Fenced in nicely. Nice small oasis here. Would recommend checking it out if your kids need some action. Will come back when we are in the area.
This park is a tiny green space off Main Street. There’s a partially fenced playground with swings and a toddler slide on the North side. The south side has benches and a community garden. There are some nice landscaping details to note. And lots of boulders for dogs to jump up on.
Tea Swamp Park is a small and beautiful park that is a pleasure to visit. Between a striking arbour and colourful community gardens, a curving dry stone stream and pathway slope down to a playground and rose-lined seating area. The name is a reminder of the Labrador tea plants that once flourished in the area. The park is in two sections separated by a lane.
Perfect for toddlers and little kids, nice to have something like this nearby. Be sure to supervise, there is occasionally a tent in the park nearby.
Fantastic little park off of Sophia and 16th. Clean, park benches, a playground, water fountain, book exchange box and a nice view of the community garden and the mountains.
Nice little community park tucked into a small residential area. My kids grew up playing here. There is decent shade at most times of day to protect the kids from the sun. The play structures are older, but still in decent shape.
where did this name originate??
This is a great little neighbourhood park. It has a tiny patch of grass to tan/picnic/walk the dog, a community garden and a playground. The playground is fenced, so its great for babies and young children. It's also filled with amazing toys donated by generous members of the Mount Pleasant Community which allows those of us living in small spaces to have bigger toys all of our kids can share.
Nice little park..my daughter got married here so I might be a little biased..lol
Nice little city park, close to Main & 16th. Popular with young families because of the gym equipment and donated toys for kids to play with.
