My extended family Table for 15 have been frequenting this restaurant for a number of years now. We have experienced both their Dim Sum dishes and their night time dinner dishes. We have always found the food and the service to be excellent. The classic Cantonese / HK cuisine have all be on point because of their flavour and freshness. The service has always been good even during their hectic busy times. The place has always been clean and neat. Please drop in and then let us all know what your thoughts are. Best restaurant during my 5 nights trip to Toronto. Light salt on most of the dishes and you can finish without . Best sweet and sour pineapple pork in town I try 3 different restaurants and I went back for it on my last day. The eel was fresh. They also offer free soups if you didn’t order soups on the menu and desserts. Definitely will go back if travel to Toronto again. Also try their breakfast special. My families them too

this place never misses. 5 stars every time we've been here their deep fried foods are very tasty and their seafood is fresh. our bill was around $108 for the food shown in the images. plus complimentary soup and dessert!

This restaurant serves delicious and authentic Cantonese cuisine. The honey glazed oysters with broccoli were flavourful. The scrambled egg white with scallops with an egg yolk was perfectly seasoned but should have been paired with broccoli to hold the sauce instead of long stem greens. Good customer service. We got extra soup home made and dessert, both were complimentary.

One of the most popular Chinese restaurants among the local Chinese community. Been here before during my last visit in Toronto 5 mths ago n I'm happy to say this time round they are still as good and popular as ever. There are tons of dim sum choices and I was told all the items marked as recommended are all good and a must try. I won't hesitate to go back again to try out some of the other dishes on the menu. Saw their set menu promotion and the price is CAD128 and good for 4 to 6 pax, you get half chicken, double lobster, steamed fish, veg etc. Would love to try on my next visit for sure.

I wish I took more photos of the dim sum. They were all really tasty and the branded bamboo steamers were cute. They have all the usual dim sum items but they also have the salted egg custard buns which are rare and that was probably my fave. I also liked that their tofu pudding came in a little bucket. The restaurant is also renovated so it's not dingy at all, and the service was friendly and quick. We came on a late Sunday morning around 11:30am and thought it would be really busy, but surprisingly it wasn't. There was no wait time at all. The only concern was that they did not check our vaccine passports even when we all had our IDs out on the table. Also the price is a bit high compared to other dim sum restaurants up to $8 for specialty dim sum.

Went to Ginger and Onion for the first time today for dinner. For a Thursday, it was actually pretty busy, but not full. We ordered the $118 Seafood and Lobster Special Set Dinner, and added a dish. The Special is definitely worth the price, especially compared to the rising price of eating out all across the board. I've attached a photo of the set menu for reference. I didn't expect to get so much seafood lobster, crab and steamed fish for this price. The lobster was REALLY tasty too! I do wish it came with a different meat dish other than the half steamed chicken, but that was okay. Also, for 6 people, we definitely needed the extra dish to be full. For 5, I think this amount would be good. The total bill was around $160 after tax. Would definitely come again with my family and order the same thing.

Saturday dim sum at Ginger and Onion. First time here in a very busy plaza for parking on a Saturday with Al Premium grocery store, Scotiabank, Dollarama and afew other small restaurants. We ordered a few traditional dim sum and some non traditional that we had to try. Everything tasted great, portions are acceptable the service was excellent. We arrived after 1pm but it was more than half full so I can imagine it would be busy at 11am through noon. Total cost per person is about $20-$30 if you all are average eaters. We will come back again to try dinner.. Parking: Hard to find during peak eating/grocery shopping times.. be patient Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible to get in but power doors don't work

We went 9:30 in the morning, and restaurant is almost full. All dim sum is steamy hot, good price. Bill includes tips. Recommended

it is a dim sum.place located in the alton tower plaza. The dim sum menu has lot of varieties. Definitely will go again and try more other dishes. The price is reasonable food is ok. service and servers are nice. The bill is already included graditutes, it was once the person who brought us the bill mentioned to me if not we would have paid it again, we still leave tips but since it was included we only left all the changes. Overall it was good.
