One of my mom's favourite restaurants. We came here for her birthday enjoyed both the service and the food. We had the Peking duck you should always get lettuce wraps with this, roasted pigeons, pork ribs, seafood fried rice and noodles. Service was excellent with all the staff. The decor is modern, ceilings r high and feels very comfortable and tables are not cramped. My wife is sensitive to MSG and she had not issues here.
Lots of dishes to select from, great value especially if you get the cash-only early discount before 11am 4.50 for S/M/L dishes. No reservations accepted before 11am because of this. We were seated on the stage area, and it was hard to find wait staff to help us with things like extra cutlery or tea. Food came out a little slower than “normal”, but the food was decent. Managers and wait staff were very friendly though!
I usually leave 2-3 stars if the food is decent even if the service is not up to par but the service today was completely unacceptable for a restaurant no matter how decent their food is. For the record, it is Christmas day but the majority of the experiences I went through during my meal cannot be justified with "it's busier than usual, please understand". One of the servers left a tray of tableware and dishware on my table with a quick explanation of "your food isn't here yet, I'm just going to leave this here for a moment" and left. I would have been fine with a "a moment" but 15 minutes passed, my food came, and there wasn't any room for the food until I called a different server over to remove the tray. The server who helped clear the table, also mumbled under their breath that we were being troublesome. That same server also wiped her hands on our table cloth every time she walked by which is neither sanitary or acceptable behaviour for an establishment serving food. I would also like to add that the table placement in the restaurant is terrible because tables are too close to one another but servers still try to squeeze into those small spaces to get from aisle to aisle, while holding food for restaurants. This is risking spillage of food and hurting both the employees and the customers. A third server pushed my mom's chair in while she was eating. My mom's chest ended up hitting the table hard because the server pushed too far in and my mom also choked on her food because she wasn't aware or given notice that her chair was going to be pushed. The server didn't apologize and nearly did it a second time but my mom got up in time to avoid the same awful treatment. There were a few other issues but those I would attribute to it being busy but overall, I still absolutely loathed my entire experience at this restaurant.
Worth trying. Standard dim sum fare with great prices. Service was a bit of a mess with missing items and incorrect orders, and priority to larger groups over groups of 2. Chrysanthemum tea was weak and they were cheap on the flowers. The BBQ Pork pastry is delicious, with a very thin crust and packed with meat. Rice noodles were thick, but bad lots of shrimp. Har gow is huge, and tripe was actually really flavourful and tasty without being overcooked. Cash Only! $20-$25pp.
This is Combo E, and it's good for up to 6 adults. It's almost a full course meal. It's just missing the fried noodles. It starts with Fish Maw and Seafood soup. You can add either red vinegar or white pepper to the soup to add in more kick. Roasted Peking Duck comes in a 2 courses meal. For the 1st course, the carved out crispy skin is eaten in a flour wrap. You can add in some garnishes with your wrap like carrot sticks, sliced cucumbers and green onions. Drizzle a bit of Hoisen sauce and enjoy. The rest of the duck is either chopped up and served. For $10 more, you can eat it by wrapping the diced duck meat in lettuce. 4lbs of Fried Lobsters in Maggi sauce at 2lbs per Lobster, stir fried Cuttlefish and Scallops with snap peas and celery, leafy Snow Pea sprouts and red Goji berries, and Seafood fried rice with Lobster paste. For dessert, you get Red bean soup, cookies and Red Jello. The restaurant stated you can either pay the bill with either a credit card or cash. We wanted to pay by credit card but their machine was not working at the time. Luckily we got cash on hand. There is ample parking space. There are washrooms available at this restaurant. Their outside patio remains closed at this time. The servers still wear face masks.
Great spot for dim sum, a huge variety to choose from, all dishes were fresh and delicious! Dim sum dishes range from $4.50-$6.50 a dish depending on the size which is a very reasonable cost. To find more tasty eats, follow me and check out my page on Instagram @hungrysimo

We experienced a lovely time at Grandeur Palace for our wedding reception. Thank you Franco So for helping us organize and orchestrate a huge event. Your hospitality and service was great! Thank you to the waiters and waitresses yesterday who served, cleaned and stayed behind to make the event a success. We all had a great time. Everyone enjoyed the 10 course meat and plated vegetarian meals. We'll be back soon for dim sum. Dim sum was good
We wanted to take our fily to dim sum and thought we would try this restaurant. The restaurant is big inside and seating was spacious. The captions and wait staff were very accommodating to our needs. The food in my opinion was ok. We ordered our dishes and they arrived a few at time after 10+ mins. for six people it was about $25 per person not big appetites. My food tast rating would be 3 out 5 stars...
A nice comfortable Chinese banquet hall, serving Cantonese cuisine and Dim Sum lunch, good quality food and reasonable prices. Nice banquet facilities with ample stage and adequate audio/visual system. A busy neighbourhood hangout for lunch & dinner.
