Absolutely one of most satisfying dining experiences I’ve ever had. Quick and attentive staff and incredible flavours and wine pairings EVERY single dish was on point. They hosted our staff party and made an amazing impression. I honestly would back just for the Brussels sprouts alone.
Amazing food and service! Only downside is the noise- the restaurant is very loud and even our waiter could barely hear us as we were ordering. But overall great experience, a bit on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. We got 5 dishes for 2 people and it was more than enough! Will definitely be coming again.
Excellent, definitely emerged as one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. Came with a group of 8 so we had a set menu - it was balanced, delicious and absolutely outstanding. Extremely friendly and efficient service. Will absolutely come back
Tried Gia on a Wednesday night. I have to say I was quite excited to try Gia as I have somewhat desperately been waiting for arrosticini to be featured on a Montreal resto menu. At Gia, they were front and let me start by saying DELICIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality at Già,  everything we had was delish. We also had the polenta, the Pici al sugo and the brussel sprouts, all very good. Wine list was ok and seem natural focused but the Nero d'avola I tasted was just ok. My only improvement feedback about Gia was the service. Even adjusted to post pandemic standards, I was disappointed. I did not feel welcomed and the team did not demonstrate their knowledge when it comes to the  menu & wine list and made me feel like it would be in my best interest to hasten my departure. All that said, the food was great and I would try some of the arrosticini again!
Stopped by for lunch to pick up a sandwich with my coworker and ended up getting danishes as well . Even though we were just there to pick up our food, we were greeted by such a nice hostess and the barista at the bar was so friendly as well. Definitely an 11/10 for service! The sandwich was quite tasty but I feel like there was missing a little something to bring it over the edge. The pastries on the other hand were SOOOO yummy!! We got a citrus danish and a cherry-pistachio danish. Would definitely come again to try their other sandwiches or try their dinner menu and stop by for pastries during a coffee break!
Beautiful setting, incredible flavours and delightful staff. Tried special duck heart BBQ skewers, artichoke toasts, roasted hazelnut spread with honey and radishes, duck tartar and two kinds of delicate pastas. Finished with corn gelato, simply buttery and divine!Food: 5/5
Amazing food, experience, and service! The servers were very nice and attentive. I am rarely stunned at service. But the food shocked me even more. One of the best restaurants I’ve had in Montreal. We ordered many plates to share as the dishes are small portions, but very much worth it. The desserts were incredible as well.
The food was mostly satisfactory. The bread was too salty. The vegetables were fresh, and the dressing was a taste that everyone would like.
Although we waited 40 minutes past our reservation!! We still enjoyed our night. They offered to pay for one round of drinks to compensate which is always a plus. Food was excellent. Make sure to order the potatoes, shrimp and polenta fritters.
Filling but unfulfilling. The vegetable dishes are heavy and drenched in fat. At that extent, it’s wiser to just get more meat instead. But then again, look at the arrosticini, their treatment on the grill is docile. Spare yourself the error of trying a non-lamb arrosticini. Fair enough, the quality of the meat is great and the focaccia is fantastic to pick up their fat, but alone it cannot justify the mere aesthetic of eating meat off a stick. Nothing interesting in the desserts and no surprise there.
