Good food and friendly staff. Price is reasonable and portions are decent. The cornbread was a little small 2 bite brownie and dry. I will definitely try other things on the menu next timeFood: 4/5

My boyfriend brought me here on a severe period pain day to help me feel better. Boy did THAT work!! One moonshine drink and my pain went down three notches! Not a lot of selections, but fantastically indulgent vegetarian food too! Total win! Portion sizes were huge. Atmosphere was super chill. New favourite! Vegetarian options: The menu in general is small, so yes, even more so for vegetarians, but damn they make a great burger and fries, plus they have good mozza sticks for those who still do dairy, and great cornbread Staff had no problem checking ingredients for me as I have several sensitivities. Good people, good food, good fun!

Delicious corn bread rolls! Their pulled pork mac n cheese is crazy and their brisket is great! I didn’t like their sandwich bread on the brisket sandwich, it was just a little too thick. Everything else was delicious. Their apple crumble is so good and came so warm and fresh through delivery that I forgot to take a picture. I couldn’t recommend it enough though!

Ordered out so cant rate atmosphere. THE BEST BRISKET SANDWICH I HAVE HAD IN AGES. SERIOUSLY. PLEASE TRY THEIR BRISKET SANDWICH WITH CORNBREAD AND BEANS <3 I AM BLOWN AWAY. WASNT EVEN HUNGRY WHEN HUBBY OFFERED IT. He had the pulled pork sandwich which he claims IS THE BEST pulled pork sandwich he has ever had. Thank you for the amazing food. The food at this place is something you just have to experience. At first we were not sure what we were getting into; we originally wanted a breakfast-brunch type place but they were all full. We spotted Moonshine on the road and stepped in. Bathed in dim lights, we sat ourselves and looked at the menus. Each item was described like any other normal restaurant, but moreso meat focused, so we ordered a bit of everything. Then we were told there were no brisket burnt ends, or jumbo chicken wings! But we were mistaken to feel disappointed; when the food came we were AMAZED at what had been made. The nachoes were actually enough to feed people unlike 99% of other restaurants; the mac 'n' cheese was rich and full of cheesy goodness; and we got lucky, a new shipment of wings was delivered and they were just as amazing as well. The price for everything was $80, but we split it 4 ways so $20 per person and we had plenty leftover. Amazing price. If you see this place you gotta go. Hesitation is weakness. Literally 5 stars establishment because the waitress was just so nice. As a recommendation to the owner for the imaginary 6th star: larger drinks, more napkins, and on the menu make it even more noticeable that certain items are based on availability Really that's all I can think of. Everything else is excellent.

Worst 'BBQ' experience I've ever had, avoid this place unless you're looking for bland, tasteless, over AND undercooked food. The mac and cheese literally only tasted like water with over cooked noodles. The fries had no seasoning and were texture-wise, clearly old and not fresh. As for the meat, I cannot even explain what we received, first off it was 2 completely different portions of what seems to be 2 completely 'different' meats. Both pieces tasted different from one another, the texture and readiness were also not the same. The coleslaw tasted as thiugh it was old and fermented, the smell when we opened the tiny containers was horrid. The biggest waste of time and especially money, if I could give 0 stars I would, absolutely and wholeheartedly do not recommend.

Sooo yummy! My favorite dessert in montreal skillet cookie with vanilla icecream! Enjoyed a delicious appetizer platter, always love the sweet potato fries and the deep fried pickles were so chrispy and juicy! Fried to perfection! Ate the platter too fast too take a picture 10/10 would recommend this restaurant

Very good place to enjoy with friends lots of meats at a very reasonable price, good beers, the starters are tasty, the environment/ambiance/vibe is nice, very welcoming stuff, recommended spot for sure for meat lovers!

Food was excellent and not expensive at all especially for Montreal! It's just the barbeque comfort food that we needed! The staff was also genuinly nice! And we were also in luck because it was $3 beer night haha... the apple crumbke desert was the cherry on top! Absolutely recommend!

The mac n cheese is amazing and if you add the brisket its straight up crack! The staff is so friendly and always ready to cater to your needs! I have SO many allergies and they did everything to make sure i wouldn’t die. Celebrated a couple of birthdays here and it was always a blast! 100% coming back! Dietary restrictions: Will 100% cater to your allergies or dietary restrictions, i have so many allergies and they pointed out every single thing on the menu i was able to eat! On top of it they were willing to switch things out because of my allergies!
