Fox & Fiddle

A bunch of us decided to go there for dinner after work one day. it looked like there was a few big groups of people there, so the service was very slow. The waitress apologize a few time, saying they were busy that night. We got our drinks right away, but it took almost 1/2 hour before she took our food order. All our food took over an hour to arrived. We were all hoping for a quick dinner but wound up staying almost 2 hours there. I had the fox nacho supreme, and with the guacamole added, it was about $25. It tasted fresh and the nachos were crispy. Everyone said their food was pretty good. The prices were about the same as most of the pubs I go to. I would go back since the food was pretty good. Just wish the service was better

Went on a Thursday night for my birthday dinner. It was dead there and there was just two of us at our table. They brought my friends dinner but forgot about mine. So by the time I got mine my friend had already finished theirs and they had cleared the plate. Not even a discount or a complimentary desert because they messed up and it was my birthday.

Place is nice and clean. Food was decent. Once we got it and that was the issue. We ordered around 6:35-645. And didn’t get our food until 7:48. I understand it was a Saturday. I understand that it was a fight night. But the waitress never gave us an update on it, until 30 minutes after we ordered when pressed for an update and then had the audacity to tell us it was because it was a fight night and they were at full capacity and that was just how it was. 1) if you make a claim like that. You better be sure I can’t see three empty tables at that moment. One of which, while I write this review is still empty. And you better make sure that I didn’t notice the two bar side tables were empty 5 minutes before I asked you about an update on our food. 2) if it is a delay in the kitchen, then come and tell us. I’m okay waiting if I’m told there is a delay. The lack of communication and bold faced lie just irritates me more so then the delay. Delays happen, I get that. The fact that you want to tell me “well it’s busy, it’s just how it is.” Is ridiculous. I mean we did order a pitcher because it was taking so long. And asked for more water. So it’s not like there were no opportunities to tell us. After all this we got our food. We were given an extra salad which was then taken away. Hopefully to the right table since I bet they were waiting an hour for a salad too. And then the salad one of the friends in our group, did order was missing dressing. I didn’t ask to talk to the manager because we just wanted to get out of there and if I’m told by a waitress “that’s just how it is” then I’m assuming that’s how the manager tells his waitresses to explain away long wait times and since I intend to never return there’s no point in trying to get better service next time.

Dropped in for a quick lunch and had the chili. It was a perfect Goldilocks size...just right.. Service was good. The menu has a wide selection so it should be easy to find something you like on it.

We were there today at 11:00 party of 20 we wanted to have one long table behind where 10 were sitting lists of room and tables. The waitress took all orders, no booze and we waited 45 min for 2 coffee, tea was cold. When at least an hour later it came very slowly and 18 of us had finished and 2 were still waiting to get there' their food. Food was good but kitchen must of been sleeping, so slow.
