Four Points by Sheraton Regina

Not quite up to par with the usual Four Points standards I’m used to in Manitoba. Our floor smelled as if it had previously been a smoking floor. Our bedding seemed skimpier than the beautiful duvets in MB and the restaurant had extremely worn seating as if the hotel had been recently taken over by FP, I was surprised to find out it was built brand new by FP and only 8 years old.nService was stellar staff are super friendly and d gracious!!!! Lots of parking, breakfast was perfect and noise level was minimal.nGood for the pub and brewery crowd as there is about 6 or 7 pubs and breweries along the side street of the hotel. They looked fun but too fun for this MeeMaw.

As a solo traveller I felt quite safe in this location, the walkability is great to restaurants as it’s almost downtown. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.nnHowever the hotel gives me the creeps a little, it feels a bit outdated in the halls and rooms. The uncomfy bed and noise from the halls kept me up for a lot of the night. I could hear someone’s phone conversation from inside thier room from the hall. The smoke detector must be out of batteries because it was flashing green for my whole stay. Phone didn’t work either. The pool looks gross and is only 4ft deep with a small hot tub beside it. The shower wasn’t working in the pool area. If your here for only a little bit and need a cheap stay, this would be the place.

We recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Regina for a spring hockey tournament. For all the preparations for a visit and during our stay the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ron, who worked the front desk, was professional and very attentive in his responsibilities.

I was charged for an extra night because they decided to change my booking on their own. Told me it was my choice, then told me they would only charge half of the extra night. None of this was true. I was charged for a night that didn’t get used and they didn’t care at all. I bring a team there all the time but not anymore. They would rather lose thousands of dollars a year than fix their mistake. Terrible business plan

I have stayed here many times and always a great experience. However I am very curious why they suddenly decided to charge my credit card an extra 285.00 to hold the room the day we arrived. First of all the credit card number holds the room and they didn’t even charge this til the day we got there. Second, they charged an extra 100.00 because the hotel was almost at capacity. Why should that be an extra 100.00? Can’t say I’ll be back.
