$25 per person for the breakfast buffet was definitely not worth it. Honestly, you could go to a Denny’s and get a much better breakfast for less. At that point, you’re really just paying for the convenience of eating at the hotel.nnUnfortunately, the cleanliness was also disappointing. The toilet had a noticeable brown ring around it, and the tap water came out brown. Parking was also an absolute nightmare. There was barely any available parking, which made the whole experience even more frustrating.nnIt really felt like the hotel had significantly hiked up its prices because of the Rider game, knowing the bus is right outside and is a convenient option for getting to the game. For what we paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, quality, and overall experience.
I wanted a lazy night after a really long day, this hotel did not live up to expectations.nnI eventually figured out that the room service menu is on the TV but unfortunately, the phone in my room doesn't work. It holds battery for 10 or 12 seconds before dying completely. Great.nnI drag my 4 year old downstairs to let reception know about my phone and order room service in person only to have reception tell me kids are not allowed ij the hotel restaurant?? Not even to make a quick order?? Okay.nnSomeone from the restaurant walked over to take our order in the lobby. The restaurant employee was lovely, the experience and food were not.nnParking was $35/night and a block away. It was very difficult to find the right exit with zero signs posted and when we found a stairwell we also found 2 people getting high. We did inform reception but I guess that wasn't news to them because they didn't care.nnThere wasn't much pleasant about this experience. It would have been nice to at least have the staff empathetic to our comments/complaint.nnI don't recommend anyone stay here if you value convenience, safety, good food or good service.
Overall experience was below what we expected, not even a 3 star rating.nUnderground Parking lot was so cramped, and tricky to get in! Its entrance has been built so tight unfortunately!nThe room was so tight and small, below standard without any closet !, with no microwave!, and a very small fridge that froze our food just in a couple of hours!nWe didn’t use the breakfast, so can’t comment on it.nWe have stayed in Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in Regina several times, and to Elements by Marriott in Vancouver, and had much different experiences with them!
We very much enjoyed our stay here on the way back to Winnioeg from Edmonton. It was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. My grandson said 'it was the best time of his life!' Lol He's 8. My prerequisites were it had to have a waterslide, and had to have no reports of past bedbugs! We also paid extra for underground, secure parking.
We stayed here with a large group, over 30 people aged 5 to 80 for a week long sports performance. There were many other groups here as well. The workers were all very courteous and helpful. The rooms very semmy updated, but the beds were very comfy, and the air conditioning wworkef great. They have a very family friendly pool area with a great water slide. The kids and adults enjoyed it thuroughly. Breakfast was good for a basic buffet, which they included. They also let the buffet time run late to accomodate the challenges of getting everyone up and running. The food in the bar downstairs was awesome and they made great cocktails. There is a adults only and family area too. The transport they organized was never late and waited for us without question when we were behind. There is a descent amount of small restaurants and bars in the area and a mall attached to the hotel as well. So there was lots to do close by for everyone in our leisure time. One side of the building is on a bit of sketchy side of town, but we didn't experience anything unsettling. The other side opened to a very nice city centre area with a beautiful park near by. Very night and day visually. I would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Delta Regina for helping us have stay.
