Flavours of Kerala

Decent Kerela food. Some items are a bit pricey but flavors are decent. Flavors are toned down from authentic versions to make it more palatable for regular diners. When we came in, it was just the owner Anil doing all from service to cooking.

Food quantity needs to be better. Beef curry could have been fresher. Otherwise food was tasty. Covid has been difficult on small businesses but only way to stay afloat is doing good service to stay afloat.

I tried a lot of dishes here. The food was okay. I feel the food is kinda customized to fit Canadian rather than being the flavours of Kerala. I should also appreciate the effort the owner puts in the do everything by himself. I recommend to try dosa especially the masala dosa here as I find it really tasty. The Sambar that comes with it is little tangy but it’s nice. The coconut chutney is great that comes with dosa. I tried almost all other curry dishes and it is okay. As I said , it feels like it’s made to fit in here for Canadians and lack the authentic Kerala flavours maybe it’s healthier as it has lesser masalas . He also makes everything fresh so that something I like about here. The lunch dishes come with rice and porota. The prices are slightly on the higher side. And sometimes, if there are too many people, it’s takes quite some time to get food.

Nice restaurant. Limited items but with high quality and taste. Clean and neat surroundings. Loved the food. Definitely gonna visit next time when I visit Ottawa. Five stars

Best Indian food ever. Great service, Staff is super friendly with kids. Takeout presentation was great. I order for 3 guys, was able to feed 4. Great portions.

Me and my friend went there for a Dosa. And it’s one of the best dosa we had so far in Ottawa. Then we tried idli, and it was awesome too. All the food is fresh and not Pre-made, even the idli is not Pre-made, they make fresh as you order. Owner is really nice, and welcoming. Must try place. We definitely going back.

Really good food paired with great and humble service. The owner Anil is very attentive allowing you to adjust the spice level of your dish as your want. Portions are generous, will definitely be back!

Not an authentic kerala restaurant as the name represents. It's too pricey here which is much more cheaper in other Kerala restaurants with better options. 1 star for the service. Hard to rate the food as to be frank it's depressing.

Food is verrrry flavour and delicious. The chef was also very nice and kind to come out and ask us about our meal and how we liked our spices before even serving it to us. I ordered the chicken cheera and it was absolutely unique in taste and presentation

Best Indian restaurant ive ever been too. Delicious food and a very nice owner. Would highly recommend !
