The restaurant’s gentleman host was polite and respectful. The food was exquisitely aromatic, fresh tasing, flavourful and hot! The aloo tikki chaat was the savoury highlight of my purchase, with so many flavours all mixing so well together. This meal was exactly what I was hoping for. Purchased for 2, with plenty of leftovers: Aloo rolls, aloo tikki chaat, dal of the day with rice, veg chow mein, naan & roti.

One of my favorite places for Indian food. I often go there on Saturdays with my friends. We usually order Chana Bhatura or Amritsari Kulche. They have the best kulche in Ottawa. Very tidy and clean place. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We used them once for catering for a house party. The food was really delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The only downside is they don't open on Sundays and close shop pretty early on Fridays and Saturdays. Other than that, highly recommended ! Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian dishes Parking: Lots of parking space as the shop is in a plaza
The best Gobi tava pranthe I have had in Ottawa. Reminded me of my childhood trips to Amritsar and Chandigarh. Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options. Parathas, kulchas and veg curries Parking: Quite a bit of parking space available in front of the store.
Very good food and service. We are loving their varieties of parathas. Their tiffin's food is also good and reasonable. We also gave ordered for catering and everyone loved it. Owners Uncle and Aunty are so polite and humble. Its a good go to place for food.
Best ParanthasAloo parantha and Amritsari Kulcha in Ottawa I have ever tasted . Even my friend from Toronto had one of the best experiences here !
Have been visiting Desi Tadka for the past 3 months now. If you are yearning home style food away from home with a great conversation with Uncle ji owner, look no further. Tiffin is just like home cooked food with generous portion size. Must try Chhole Bhature And Aalu Kulche.

We had a family function for which we did catering from Desi Tadka. All the items were very good and everyone liked the food. We are also a regular customer for take outs. Definitely recommend this place.
I love there food. I have been there a few times. There dine in service is basic, but sufficient to enjoy Indian food. We loved their chole bhathure, parathe, kulche etc.
