Finger licking goodness covered in delicious sauces. All we have tried so far was always very tasty. Super fresh and exploding in flavours. Love the pomegranate as a garnish for some of the dishes! My personal favourite is maybe the samosas bowl, but hard to say, all is yummy! We will be back and will finally order some of their teas Vegetarian options: All is vegetarian Parking: Food truck located in a parking lot, so plenty of parking
Good place for an evening tea. Really like the ginger cardamom tea from here. The regular sugar is less sugar compared to Indian tea standards. The samosa chaat also was delicious and same as that of what we get back in India. The burger was also good. There are car parking spots next to the food truck. I wish they were little faster in preparing the food but the food is quite the wait. Very limited menu with average prices.
So glad I discovered this place in Ottawa What a hidden gem located on a fairly busy street. Samosa Chat- packed with flavour, the sauce, the toppings. Crunchy bites of goodness. The butter chicken poutine no poultry this was absolutely the favorite amongst us all. Even the children enjoyed it. The royal chai was great. The pink chai... my least favorite. Will Definitely be back to try other items Highly recommend!
Delicious cardamom ginger chai with that strong tea taste and still somehow creamy. We also enjoyed the yogurt dumplings topped with pomegranate seeds, crispy fried dough, and a tangy, zippy sauce. Very generous portion of poutine for the price, made with butter chicken sauce as well, lots of cheese curds. Friendly service and the wait was not long at end of lunch hour today.
Food trucks usually have attained their names for good food but lately experience is kinda shaky. But Seven Tea miles is surely miles ahead of its competition. Brilliant. Amazing. Just few adjectives to describe this place and the food they offer. Loved the ginger cardamom tea with samosa, aloo tikki and few more. Rarely you'll find all these items perfected by restaurants in Ottawa. This place is located on an intersection on busy merivale road. It gets quite busy in evenings and your order might test your patience but it'll be worth the wait. There's plenty of parking where you can sit, relax and enjoy your food. Will be going there next weekend as well. Lol. Keep up the good work. Look up the pictures for timings and rates.
Such amazing authentic food you will crave over and over again. The samosas and chutney are really delicious and I love the cracker chat. The go to for a drink is a Royal chai and that just rounds off the evening. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
First of all my review might be impacted by the fact that I went there with really high expectations for both tea and food, but only one part came close to my expectations. So if I have to pick a rating it would be 5 star for Tea both Pink and Royal tea and 3 star for samosa poutine and butter poutine so on an average 4 stars. Service was really good but Food could use bit more work or I just need to bring expectations down as indian food quality in Ottawa is not close to Toronto or brampton area. But the prices are really good for the quanity. I will try once more and update my review if food improves.
Excellent, unassuming and wonderful find. Great variety of tea and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness. Definitely a lifetime customer! Loved their potato tikki & samosa poutine. Highly recommended.
A must eat! We ordered two milkshakes, the Samosa Poutine and the Crispy Cracker Chaat. The food was soooo delicious and full of flavours, I am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.
A great food truck focusing on Indian tea in a good area. The drinks we ordered were both incredibly authentic and tasty. Order: 8oz Regular Chai $3.25 each x1 - Authentic Indian tea - Perfect balance of milk and sugar 12oz Royal Chai $4.35 each x1 - Authentic Indian tea - The base Chai is very good and the spice blend elevates it Atmosphere and Site: - The food truck is located in the parking lot beside Dairy Queen - No seating outside of the food truck Service: - Quick service with the two drinks arriving within 5~ mins of ordering them - Friendly staff
