Fat Bastard Burrito Co.

VERY expensive and prices seem to be rising, and on top of that consistency is lacking. Some staff members will STUFF your burrito/tacos but others will only fill it halfway or put very little in them. If I'm paying around $17 for just a huge burrito, I better hope it's big enough to feed a family of 4. It's also a little silly that it costs extra to add cheese into the tacos... isn't that kind of a staple in tacos? (all the above is reason for -1 star). Despite the price, the food is delicious and there is a huge variety of flavours and options. I would definitely recommend trying it if you are a fan of burritos. They also seem to have quite a high staff turnover rate. I've been going there since it opened and I don't see a single familiar face and there's always someone training, which is fine but it's hard to build a relationship with the staff if they are always switching. Bear in mind I know there's a lot of factors that contribute to this which is why it didn't affect the rating. All the staff, new or not, are friendly and have no complaints on that front. Make sure you watch your change though because some of the employees aren't very good ok the register and I've been shorted (accidentally, never on purpose) upwards of $5 before.

Extremely generous manager. Food was very tasty and good price. I loved all about it. Although, my order was late but worth waiting. Ordered online and there was delay. I never seen such kind of polite service by manager. Called us to inform and apologies for delay. I would highly recommend tasty food specially mars bar. Very pleased with service and food. Certainly will recommend my friends to try

I've given these guys so many chances, I don't even know what to say anymore. My first issue with them was a coworkers burrito. Had ordered without any hot sauce, and arrived with their hottest of sauces. Dude flushed out pretty badly, and while it was a little funny, it ruined the meal for him. The second issue is when three of us pushed an order. My burrito had the wrong size and wrong toppings, my coworker once again got incorrect toppings, and was given hot sauce. This would mark the last time he ordered from them with us. The third time, we were kinda running out of options and defaulted to them for lunch again. Once again my burrito arrived incorrectly sized, wrong toppings, and my other coworker got the wrong kind of meat. We phoned this one in, and we were told with very, very little respect that there was no way the burritos were prepared incorrectly, as the person on the phone himself had overseen the operation. He bowed and agreed to resend the order, though was most certainly not polite. And my final tragic tale is one partially of my own fault. I pushed an online order and got the wrong toppings. Noticing this in my email, I called the location multiple times, to no answer. I contacted support for just eat, and told them of the issue. They confirmed the telephone number, and I was still unsuccessful with the order. We agreed that cancelling the transaction would be the best idea. About 45 minutes later I receive a phone call from the store informing me that my burrito was odd, and asking if I would like any toppings. The order was going to be prepared that long after the order was placed. Little nuts. This place is really good in person, the food is really good for the price, and I'm never let down when I'm in the building making the order, which is why I'll give two stars. Order online and you have my best of luck. Orders show up incorrectly, very late, and the store is not exactly attentive in fixing any issues. I think I'll stop ordering from them after this time.

The better burrito choice in Barrie. They dont nickel and dime you on extras, the way it should be. Crispy chicken is awesome in any burrito.

I've been eating here since this opened in Barrie. Within the last month or so, the quality of the food has drastically diminished. The quantity of food has also considerably been reduced. I typically order a small burrito box, which has always been almost more than I can eat. I've recently had to move the medium burrito boxes, which at barely half filled. Not worth the 13$. Lettuce was browned. Guacamole was brown. Cilantro was mostly stems. Green onions were mushy. Rice, Beans, noodles, and baked chicken cold. This hasn't been a singular event, and has happened over the last month to month and a half. Sadly, after today's visit, I'll not be eating here any longer due to the quality, and quantity, of the food for the price.
