Terrible place. The manager (lady with red hair) is abrupt and rude. Her attitude is that she is doing the customer a favour by remaining open when in fact there is so much choice these days that the customer can just go elsewhere. If Fastenal head office is wondering why this location is doing so poorly the might want to examine the person running the branch. I have given up on the place.

The staff is not familiar with the inventory. Be forewarned: there are no returns or refunds, even with a receipt. "We are not a retailer" is the line they use.

Went to purchase a few items recently. First of all the store was understaffed and Faith couldn't keep up with the phone calls or customers coming in. Secondly, when I asked for a product and if she could help me she said it was "over there... You'll see them". I managed to find the items after awhile and went to pay for them. About a week later I came back to the store to return a few extra items. Faith sort of looked annoyed but did the return anyways. A few days past and I found one more extra package in my truck. I thought I had returned it but I must have missed it. So, off I went to return the items. Unused of course! I get to the store and ask to return the items. Faith was really annoyed this time. I could hear it in her tone of voice and than she said she was charging me a restocking fee! I told her she didn't do that the other day and I asked why now? She said it was for "paper work". I said it wasn't fair. She could have told me the first time she wasn't charging it, but next time she'll have to. That would not have been a problem. She said "it's only $1.37. We don't do retail and there's people that spend $1000 a month here"... That's not the point. The point is, it's about customer service and I explained it to her. I also said that the competitor (Hilti) would not do that. If I have an item to return, they take it. Whether I spend $1.00 or $1 million. In fact, I told her Hilti would gladly take my money and business. Faith then said "I would appreciate that if you went there instead!" So, to make a long story short. Whether I am spending $1 or $1 million dollars, treat the customers on the same level. For all we know I could come in tomorrow and spend $15,000! I am also a huge believer in referrals and I will not be referring this specific Fasenal.
