Canadian Tire

The store front is usually pretty good. I can find what I need easily and it'll be in stock. The auto service department on the other hand is abysmal. They're slow and you get the distinct impression they don't know what they're doing. Being quoted wrong information seems to be an ongoing issue when it comes to service.

Just a horrible experience. I called and asked if they could patch my tire. Guy said yes and that it was first come first serve. I arrive and talked to the lady to explain that I just needed a tire patch. She said no problem. I asked about how long it would take. She said that I was next and shouldn’t be too long. So I walked around the store for about 15 minutes and then headed back to the waiting room. After about an hour of waiting, no one had looked at my car. I went up to the lady and she asked what I was there for and my name. I told her I needed my tire patched and my name. She said oh you are next... I said that she told me that an hour ago. Then she said that they only had one mechanic working (though there were about 7-10 people standing or sitting around at their desks or in the back room). I just sat down. There were about 3-4 other people waiting who had been there about an hour or more. So another 20 minutes go by and nothing. I finally told the kid behind the desk to give me my keys. He looked confused. I then asked for the manager and the manager told me that they were booked with appointments. I said that no one told me anything about an appointment? He just said sorry and told me to come back tomorrow. I told him no way I would come back to them! On top of that they tried to charge me $40 for a tire patch. Ended up going to another garage and they fixed me up for half that price! This place just sucks. Avoid it or be prepared to get ripped off and wait...

Very nicely decorated for Christmas 🎅🎄 Canadian Tire store. Wonderful selection of 🎄, 🎁, lights, and decorations. There was no line up at the cash, and the older cashier lady was super friendly 😊😊😊and very helpful 👍 Make sure you check out Canadian Tire flyer to see what's on sale, I always do. If you shop carefully you can find amazing bargains at this store that are advertised in the weekly flyer. If I can't find something that is advertised, I always ask an associate to check if this store has this sale item in stock (and, if yes, where is this item exactly located and how many of those sale items the store has on hand). I had service desk lady locate sale items for me at other stores (when this store was sold out of those items) and the service desk was nice and eager to help 😊 This store is wheelchair friendly and has a wheelchair accessible entrance and lots of handicapped spots near the entrance. The new style checkout system didn't seem to work to well lots of people yelling instead of the tellers number being shown on the tv screen like it's intended. The tellers had a booth in front of each other which created more confusion for people to try and figure out which side they were supposed to be on. I still think it's better then the self checkout stations. Could use some refining but all in all it should work out.
