EPIC CYCLE AND FITNESS is located on Front Street (Route 31) in McHenry, IL, across from the big, red roller rink. We are certified to work on all categories, styles and brands of bikes. We carry Giant, Fuji, Surly, Sun, SE, Fit, United, S & M, Kink, Subrosa, Fly, Stolen, and Eastern bicycles in several varieties depending on your preference and riding style. Stop by to get your bike serviced or test ride a new bike. We will be happy to help you out.

We are closed on Tuesdays.

I have been going here since I was treated poorly down in Crystal Lake at another bike shop next to the train station.  At Epic, they are straight forward and they don't charge higher than expected.  I get my bikes tuned here, they have helped me keep my 1996 trek man bike on the road and I recently purchased a Giant mountain bike here.  They are my go to LBS.

I love Epic Cycle and Fitness. It's an excellent, local shop with exceptional service, run by kind, honest people.  Prior to Epic,  I used to only buy bikes, parts, and apparel online.  Since Mike opened the doors to Epic, I've never looked back to the Internet for any bike-related purchases.  Experiencing top-notch service from Mike and his employees, and receiving professional guidance for bikes, sizing and gear is something that you can't get online...or in any big-box sporting goods store.  I had a tire issue on a brand new mountain bike that I purchased at Epic and Mike was awesome to work with and helped me receive a new tire through warranty.  What I love most about Epic is that it's a shop that supports all riders from beginners, families (young and old), weekend warriors, to elite road and mountain bike racers.  Epic Cycle is a shop where everyone can feel comfortable and confident walking in for the first time for a bike purchase or repair.

I like to shop local as often as I can and these guys make it easy and pleasant. Mike and his crew are very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you're in the McHenry area and looking for all things bicycles go to Epic. You'll feel good about supporting local businesses and you'll get a great experience as well.
