Kiera Confections

Parking isn't easy. Be ready to parallel park or park in a lot and walk. The shop is small and offered ice cream and cupcakes. Pricing seemed a little especially for cupcakes. We got half a dozen to go. Picking out our individual favorite flavors. We got home and quickly found the cake portion had little to no real taste. The top was a delicious butter cream. Will we go back? For a special occasion maybe.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's birthday from Kiera's. They were so good! I ordered 10 cupcakes with half vanilla and half chocolate cupcakes. They had a white chocolate Lego piece on top of them. My daughter LOVED them. They were a huge hit. Thank you for making her birthday special. We will definitely order again!

Ordered cupcakes for my daughter's sweet 16 Steam punk themed party. The owner was very accommodating we my daughter, me and two friends showed up to test the cupcakes and they loved so much one of her friends bought shakes and those were really good too. I even ordered dairy free cupcakes for a friend so her daughter and husband could have a cupcake while at the party and they said they were delicious. For what we paid I couldn't be happier. We are going to be using them for my sons 1st birthday as well.

I have been in the wedding business since 2003 and I have eaten a lot of cake and cupcakes...Kiera Confections are the BEST I have ever had. I could not disagree more with the bad review. I think her competition must have written it...my taste buds enjoy a really great cupcake...and Kim from Kiera Confections delivers a cupcake that is second to none! I love love love them!!!!

I used Keira confections as a vendor for my wedding cupcake cake and loved it! Meeting with them to go over ideas and themes for our cake was a lot of fun and her flavors are absolutely delicious! There are so many fun design ideas in her photo book, it was hard to choose just one. Prices were very fair and the work was quality. They even left a thank you note when delivering our order! I would highly recommend them for your next party!

Best cupcakes I've ever had. The maple bacon are to die for! We ordered the red velvet cupcakes and I was surprised when we bit into them that they weren't "bright red" like most red velvet baked goods. Turns out Kiera Confections doesn't use traditional Red Dye which my sister is highly allergic to totally awesome! Their baked goods are delicious and Kim is the most down to earth kind person you'll meet.

We are SO happy how our cupcake wedding tower turned out and our guests are still raving about how good the cupcakes were!! They were so incredibly friendly and easy to work with and made our special day that much more sweet! Thank you for doing such a great job!! We will be in soon to get more cupcakes!

Was looking for a bakery near by to get cupcakes for my boyfriends birthday and I’m glad I found this one. The girl behind the counter was very very nice and wrote down everything and it turned out exactly how I thought it would. The frosting was great and the cupcakes were the best I have ever had, everyone else agreed also. The chocolate pieces on the top of the cupcakes were so cute, I loved them. I will come back to this place from now on because I was satisfied with the cupcakes I received. I give this place of business five stars, best of the best in McHenry!

I've been eating at Kiera's for years. Really happy they switched to all natural dyes. The red velvet cupcakes look a bit different but they still taste amazing!!! We also love their ice cream and milkshakes. We will continue to frequent this establishment, regardless of the impact on my waistline

We just delivered an assortment of Kiera mini-cupcakes and choc strawberries to some of our customers. Everything was beautiful, nicely packed and I'm still getting thanks from my customers for thanking them! I wanted to deal with a local business for Thanksgiving gifts and this was the perfect choice. Everything was on time, looked wonderful and of course, all had zero calories.
