El Carambas

Nice atmosphere and food. I'm Mexican and I can say the taste of the food is really close to authentic Mexican food. I like the sauces but the green one is usually not spicy in Mexico and here it is, so be careful trying this one.

Food was good. Chips were good. The different choices of sauces was good. We ordered for a group of 16. If you do this, plan some time when you pick up the food so that you can fill your drinks and fill containers with sauces. It's probably best to call ahead to ensure they have a box to put the drinks in so you can transport them to your group without spilling them in a car. The restaurant looks like a nice place to eat-in too. I took off one star only due to the inconvenience of having to fill our drinks and sauces but I would surely eat there again.

Fair pricing on menu items, authentic feel, food was okay nothing too special and the beans were served cold. The salsa bar was great though. Service was average.

Read some reviews about this place and figured I'd give it a shot. When my wife ordered chicken we were told they were out at 7:15 on a monday. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like beef but she was stuck with it. Also I saw that they have "lunch and dinner" selections. I said I'll have the dinner portion and I was told by the waitress "oh it's the same size just different prices". The food was ok, and the portions we're certainly not huge as some reviews say. I did enjoy the sauces they had available, that was a nice touch and the chips we're fresh and tasty.
