Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We took a group of 10 kids to Perkins North after Homecoming Saturday night. There were at least 3 area schools that also had Homecoming, so the place was packed. They only had two staff working- the hostess/waitress (one person) and the cook. Yes, there was a wait. But the food was great and the hostess/ waitress was wonderful. I am sure she was ready to pull her hair out, but she was always smiling and professional. Great job!!

Went in that for a nice family lunch and Darcy, our waitress was less than impressive. She didn't once smile, she never offered us refills, seemed to get annoyed when I asked for a covered cup for my 2 year old or when I asked for silverware. I felt pressured into tipping her because she was watching me write on my receipt. Hopefully it was just a bad day for her and this is not her normal essence. I hope this review actually changes something. I Really wanted a nice positive experience...

The food was very good but the service was lacking. We had a big group so you'd think that the service would be good but it wasn't. We were put in the back corner and forgotten about. The food saved this rating from being a 1. They also have us a10% discount for staying at the nearby hotel which was nice.

Waste of time. Last meal until after noon tomorrow and all I ask for is well done bacon on my BLT. They did not care. Very bad service.

Place was very busy and the staff did not let on that they were running their asses off. Dede was the front runner and she was wonderful and pleasant even tho she was crazy busy. Kacey was nice and even put our 2 year olds order in as stat. Very good food!
