I like Edo a lot. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because at least 50% of the time I find either bones or something very ‘bone like’ in my chicken rice bowl. I get rice, chicken, and the veggies minus mushroom. It is very hard and pointy like a bone. Obviously cooking with chicken, it happens and I understand nothing is perfect. Just thought I’d give a heads up to the owners/customers that bone is being found quite often
Trying to get my noodle kick and I ordered the largest yakisoba with mushroom only and 4 scoops. They totally delivered a tasty bowl of noodles and beef. My only issue is this bowl is barely half full let alone the lost space on the bottom. This is supposed to be the largest super-sized option. Call me a hungry boy if you will but I would have expected this bowl to be closer to the rim with their delicious noodles. Had it been full they would easily have 5 stars. I just feel when someone asks for the largest size they should make an effort to oblige even at extra cost options.
Went in for lunch take out. ,Ordered two meals ,both with chicken beef and shrimp, One wth rice one with fat noodles and spring rolls , i get order and ,only one meal. .Then they proceed to fix order and. I get the rice meal wth no beef or chicken just shrimp not sure if they didn't understand or what the issue was but i will not be bac, ill stay a loyal customer to the airdrie south side edo where ive always had great service , thanks but no thanks
Cleanliness could be better , food was ok but could tell it was getting a little old and service was hard as staff didn't know the menu items and had to keep looking to see if it was even on their menuFood: 3/5
Fresh, Hot and Delicious! Loved my Sizzling Shrimp special order today - PERFECTION! Enjoyed sitting on the bench seating and dining in. VERY CLEAN! Washroom mint! Thank You Sat! See you soon!
Great experience here. Come here with family on a number of occasions. The staff are always calm, and make it a very peaceful experience when eating. The tables are always clean, and spotless each time I eat here. Despite even know it's not like other real authentic Japanese restaurants in Canada food here is almost unbeatably delicious. Great experience here overall.
The food is consistently good here. They don’t skimp put on portions or veggies, or on sauce. Even though it’s a self-service dining style, the workers behind the counter still came up to customers eating at the tables to ask if they needed anything else. Good service!
Loved meeting the manager, he dropped by to ask us how our meals were. They were yummy the veggies and were perfect.
Not a bead set up. Missing a lot of options and the customer service was okay. Food quality was the same but didn’t feel like the wanted to go above and beyond lol
Long wait time which is okay during lunch rush but I asked for sauce on my dish at the beginning of the order and then again when they didn't give me any when it was handed to me. I asked again they took it and "put" sauce on. I drive home open my dish and no sauce. Dry rice and meet due to no sauce. Hopefully this is a one time thing.
