It was good food and good atmosphere need bigger bathrooms with remodel Hannah was our waitress she was good however building is long it takes few minutes to get things back and forth so that needs addressed stays busy while we were here lots and lots of oil under gigantic onion rings mayb let it drain little longer and mayb put slaw in a bowl on the plate cuz made my shrimp soggy over priced for for what I feel we got

Stopped on a Sunday for a quick bite while spending time in the area. The building was beautiful with an old classic style I love. There were very few people so my wife and I felt like we had the place to ourselves which was lovely. Our waitress was perfect! She knew exactly when to check in on us and we never once felt rushed or like we had to wait for anything. We had the fried vegetable appetizer, a cup of French onion soup and the classic burger, all were perfect! I will definitely be coming back again.

Food was good and lunch was quick and fun for a little date with my little girl. She loved having extra napkins with her hot dog.

EDIT: Following the experience below, one of the owners contacted me personally and was extremely apologetic. He made every effort to make things right and was very respectful, professional, and appreciative of me as a returning customer. It's hard to find quality places that really value their customers like that these days and I'm glad we have this wonderful restaurant in our town. Waited 1h40min before calling and found that it had been marked as carryout because they weren't doing delivery, even though the website let me place the order with no indication that it would not be delivered.nnWoman on the phone was kind and gave me some options. Decided to refund the order and place again through doordash so I could get new, hot food since it had been sitting there so long.nnWait another 30 min for the dd and got...cold food. Clearly just handed them the bag that had sat there for over 2 hours. Everything was room temp, congealed, unappetizing. So all in all, 2.5 hours wait and all that hassle for disappointment.

We got the bacon wrapped Gouda, French onion soup , chicken Cabernet salad and cuz I’m extra I ordered a side of the Parmesan peppercorn dressing ZERO REGRETS the Gouda was melted and very chicken cordon blue ish . My salad was so amazing that people next to me were asking me which one it was because the look of pure enjoyment on my face while eating salad was likely unexpected. The house made dressings are incredible! It’s been a long time since I had a good French onion soup and this did NOT disappoint. The French dip sandwich was good - it’s a knife and fork but when they say onion and steak they mean as much onion as steak so you may end up picking a little off. Our server I believe her name was Jess was perfect ! She engaged / humored the chit chat at the table without interrupting our conversation flow , am she had wonderful recommendations and was just an absolute delight !
