Beckett's Burger Bar

Visited Bowling Green recently on my birthday and decided to try Beckett’s again having eaten there years ago in its previous location. Great birthday surprise! I remembered it being good but this was exceptional! Service was good and food arrived hot and without much wait time. We had the hot honey feta dip and I will be returning just for this item alone! Delicious with plenty of chips and pita to use to dip and piping hot. We also had the nachos served on tater tots which was different and a pleasant surprise. Loaded with toppings. And lastly the Georgia Reuben which was a perfect balance of all the ingredients. The homemade chips were also a winner. Will be returning. Thank you for a lovely birthday lunch.

Just moved to BG and decided to check this place out. It's right on Main St. Which is like a little downtown, so many of the places are compact and require walking down the street from where you park. Nice sports bar feel with a good atmosphere.nnNonetheless, I tried The Pub Burger, I ordered it Medium, but it came out well done which was disappointing. The bun is high quality, and the ingredients were fresh so it wasn't the end of the world. I did think the burger itself could have had more flavor and seasonings; however, it's a great burger Nonetheless! I ordered my burger with the waffle fries, which were the best part of the meal!!! The seasoning was fantastic, they were crispy, paired great with some ranch, and they gave you a good portion of them!nnThe service received was great. I had Carol. It's tough to gage what it would be like with a group as it was just me who went, but she kept my drink filled at all times, quick to deliver anything, and gave napkins without asking which was a huge plus.nnCome check this place out if your craving a good burger! They have vegetarian options as well. I asked what they sold the most and was told all of the apps were a hit, they sell just as much chicken as they do burgers, and just about anything else on the menu usually sells well.

We have not been here for a few months. I have had great burgers here in the past. My burger today was tasteless. The bun was not grilled so it was a soggy mess. My husband was happier with his burger but it supposed to be spicy but was not. The Caesar salad was nothing more than a side salad with plain mystery white cheese. The dressing on the side, I think was creamy Italian. Both my items were a fail. On the positive note the mac n cheese was really good.

Good food, the burger was huge I got a double I have a healthy appetite and the double was more than I could eat but was really good. The poutine waffle fries app was different and really good as well. Only gripe is the seating for two. My wife and I were sat at a tiny table. Other than that will come again!

Highly recommend! Beckett's has it all and checks all the boxes! Great location just downtown. Be aware there is limited street parking, so you may have to find a parking lot a block or two away. But it's a nice walk down Main Street and there are several small stores in the surrounding block. Great atmosphere and very well kept. Decent sized and well stocked bar, ample seating, and plenty of screens to catch the game. Our service was perfect! Took care of us without being overbearing. Food arrived hot and in good order. Definitely must try the pretzel sticks! Wow! But save room for the bacon burger. It's huge! Prices were reasonable for the area. Just an overall great experience. We'll definitely be back!
