East Coast Surf School

Nico and his staff are great! They’re the best intro to the sport for those who haven’t tried it. Very professional, very friendly, and always quick to respond. I first made the connection about 6 years ago with a lesson, and have continued to recommend them to others over the years, or book another lesson for myself. They are definitely a part of what makes coming back to the Eastern Shore so easy. Nico is always up for a surf-talk session (even while he books other lessons) and genuinely seems to love the sport and his work with the EC surf school. Go to the beach! Find these guys (they’re not hard to find), and start surfing. :)

Awesome experience! You'll want to go again and again! Nico and his staff at the East Coast Surf school were amazing! Not to mention, he was a professional surfer ~ So you're learning from the best! We went as group of about 14 people and we all had a great time. They provide everything: the wetsuits, boards, booties and instruction and then guide you along and help you get some waves when you're in the water! Super fun time!

Yesterday I tried surfing for the first time. I wasn't immediately good at it. I may never be. But the instructors were terrific. The right mix of support, encouragement, and just letting me try. In fact, they let me try two different boards to feel the difference. I will go back and spend a day - at my own pace - playing with what I learned. If you're thinking about trying to learn to surf give East Coast a call. Jill is awesome.
