Dickson Carpet One Floor & Home

I am thrilled with my new carpet from Dickson’s! They were thorough in measuring my stairs and hall & discussing carpet types, quality & ideas. Staff was excellent & patient in helping my designer & I choose a carpet for the colour & modern design look I wanted & that would be suitable & serviceable for a circular staircase. The installer showed up on time, removed the old carpet, took the time to read the new carpet installation instructions, precut the hall & stairs, then carefully installed in 3 days keeping the area neat & clean for our use. It looks awesome! I have used Dickson’s for 30 years for our residential & commercial carpet needs & they have always provided excellent service & results.

If I could give more stars I would, such a great customer experience from the moment I walked into the door to delivery of my carpet. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and assisted. I was shown many different options in what I was looking for Sharon was patient with me in finding me exactly what I wanted and didn’t push me into something I didn’t want just to make a sale and Cindy was fantastic, delivered to me late on a long weekend no questions asked even cut the carpet to size. I can’t say enough how pleased I was with there service. Amazing ladies. They went above and beyond. I am now a customer for life.

I have used Dickson on multiple projects over the past 10 years and have always been very pleased with both the quality and service. Cindy, Wilf, Sharon and the team are great to work with. Looking forward to the upcoming installation of carpeting on my outdoor stairs.

Great service and value all round. Rick is knowledgeable and dedicated to finding the right solution for multiple flooring projects in my rental properties and in my own home. Sharon works diligently with me to select materials and to coordinate each project to meet my sometimes challenging timelines and my tenant’s schedules. Installers are competent, reliable and thorough and every project is finished to my satisfaction. Good experience every time.

We recently bought a home in Port Hope that needed extensive renovations throughout including all floors. We met with Jasmine at Dickson's to kick it off and she offered us multiple solutions and happily allowed us to stand on samples until we found the right one (thank you for showing us the true colors - boy were we off those first few!). We then did a site survey with Rick (who was also GREAT) and he walked us through our choices and a few other options and solutions for the space. He then showed us his choice for his personal home and explained the benefits to using this style of floor for the type of rehab we needed. His recommendation was significantly lower than our option we chose but he felt strongly that we needed to hear him out. Sooooo glad we did!!! We took a leap of faith and went with a vinyl option. BEYOND FABULOUS :) Our installers were awesome, punctual, professional, and realllllly fast. Doug and Bob did such a fabulous job and definitely set the bar on all our renovations! Cannot speak high enough about the wonderful end to end service we received at Dickson's and would recommend this family run business to anyone considering a new floor.
