I called to schedule a move-date a month in advance. Instead of setting it up properly, Bell cut off my services. It's taken more than 3 phone calls to them, lasting over 40 minutes each, plus they've called me back multiple times, just to tell me they can't fix the problem. The worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. On the phone for so long without getting anything accomplished. Why can they not just set my services back up if they made the mistake of cutting them off in the first place!? Just terrible. Another phone call down the drain. Nothing done, and a waste of my time.
Just got my new phone and 2 year plan. The sales associate Mark was courteous, friendly and got me fixed up in no time. Explained everything so it was easy to understand. The Entire process was easy and the staff were eager to help. I highly recommend the Bell store in Northumberland mall. If you can, get your vaccine so we can protect each other!! Enjoy the beautiful weather!!
Went to the Cobourg location to switch from Rogers to Bell mid February, the woman that looked after us was pleasent enough but really needs more training. First she signed us up for the wrong plan, it wasnt the plan we had talked about in store, we had to go back and get it changed to the proper one by a completely different agent. I brought my phone with me from rogers thinking that when the phone I wanted came available I'd be able to upgrade with no issues. HOWEVER, I just found out that I need to be with Bell for 3 months before I can upgrade, which also wasnt explained to us when we switched. So far really not impressed with the customer service we have recieved. That being said the second agent that straightened out the initial issue was really good....
The Bell store in Cobourg is excellent at helping technically challenged older people like me, they are very patient and understanding. They made sure I understood the rate plan I was put on and the basics of using the phone before I left. I do stop by often to get more help and they are always pleasant.
worst EVER!. My phone had issues 17 months into a 24 month contract. talked to the staff in store and Bell who said the only solution was to pay off the balance of the contract and enter a new contract with a new phone. I ended up involving the ombudsman. Got a letter from Bell saying they would waive the balance owing as long as I entered a new contract with them. I went to the store to set this up...we can't help you !!!!! what the actual hell?? Spoke to the Executive office who informed me there is a note on file with instruction for the store. Called the store....still refused!!!!! Bell should seriously look at the management in this store. When I purchased a phone for my husband I did it through Walmart...no issues at all! Suffice to say this will be my last Bell product...EVER!
I worked for Bell in the 80's and 90's. We had such a strong commitment to positive customer service and dreaded a negative report to the higher ups. We felt like a family. I find Bell now to be indifferent to the needs of the customer. Directory Assistance is a joke - I have never been able to satisfactorily communicate with the operator. I came back to Bell after leaving for a few months and trying Cogeco but still experienced unsatisfactory service. I am extremely disappointed and don't really advertise the fact that I once worked for Bell. I used to try and get people to support the company because my late husband worked there for 33 years retiring as District Manager for Outside Plant and Engineering. He would be very upset if he could see what the company has become.
Eva was great, and very pleasant, we needed a new modem. Eva actually waited past closing time for me, so I could exchange our old modem for a new one. Thank you !
I went into this place looking to find a battery for a phone they sold me a few years ago. Unfortunately the people who sell you the phones don't have the replacement batteries for the phones, boo! So the salesman try to sell me an upgraded phone. The Samsung Galaxy S9 Edge, by the way is totally not the hype it was meant to be. The Galaxy Samsung S5 is still better with more technological advances than the S9 Edge. Outside of getting me to upgrade my phone to something that I wish I could run over with my car, the sales rep also promised me that I would have X amount of data until x amount of time. Little do they know as soon as I changed over to his new plan, every other plan that I had in motion before became obsolete. Blindsided me! Really thinking of going with some other phone company.
Not this store specifically but the company in general. Horrible product, HORRENDOUS customer service. A Bell tech unnecessarily damaged my property and I have been fighting for TWO MONTHS to get them to fix it. Three ignored appointments and many more expected calls that never happened. Awful. Lie after lie. Fake ticket numbers. Exasperating. TWO RIDICULOUS MONTHS.
Even though they didn't have the phone, they ordered it and it came in, in 2 days. Nice staff who explained all the details and answered all our questions.
