Solid Walmart. Up to date, very large and huge parking lot. It can be busy though due to nearby Port Hope using it as well. Stock was solid, it was clean and the washrooms were clean as well. One of the better ones around.
The staff are very friendly, and helpful. Never really had an issue with the staff here. But they could do a far better job of keeping up on stocking their shelves and fridges that for sure! More than half the time that we go to Walmart in Cobourg they don't have our different dog foods or any Ensure which I require to have, sadly. Not to mention a lot more different items and foods they are constantly lacking in having most of the time! This has become very frustrating to our family big time! Not really sure what has happened to this Walmart that I used to love for a one stop all needs met place to shop at. It sure isn't this anymore! It all began just before Covid 19 lock downs, that they began to have on a constant basis this huge issue/shortage with their stocking on basically everything! I am so disappointed with this Walmart now! It's awful when it's the only one in your area where you live, that already takes a half hour drive to get to. But to top it off once you get there they don't have a great deal of the very items that your in need of! If they would only resolve this issue it would again be my favorite one stop shopping/grocery mart! I miss the Walmart I remember it being for so long to what it has become now!
My issue , self checkouts . Good idea if they are run efficiently. When some of the checkouts not working , not good . When you have customers with 30-50 items and you have customers in line with only 4-5 items waiting, not good either . There needs to be a more efficient way of processing customers quickly .
While we were at Walmart in Trenton today, my little great granddaughter suffered a medical emergency. Staff was on hand immediately to help us. We were just waiting for lunch at their McDonald's when it happened. They were so quick and so attentive it eased our fright while we waited for the ambulance. We cannot thank them enough for their caring help..iv want to make sure you know what a wonderful and caring staff you have in Trenton. Can never thank you enough
Regularly omit items or provide me with expired items on my pick up orders. Health issues stop me from getting the groceries myself. Always understaffed. Rude pharmacy staff too. Avoid if you can, especially if you live far. Nothing worse than coming home with expired food when its half an hour to get there and back. Zero stars if I could. Better deals at No Frills and Food Basics if you are mobile.
I was appalled how myself and husband were watched over as we went through self check out. We felt so uncomfortable. My husband's face and body language expressed how he felt, but there was no I'm sorry we have too, or an explanation. If they are going to be all up in your grill they should politely let you know and maybe explain why or sorry we have too. Then I went home and the meat I bought at Walmart was spoiled.
Cynical store employee, an old bag targets people at self checkout to give them a hard time; and at the end just because one item doesn’t scan, they want to cancel the whole thing and redo without asking me, audacity of this bag of bones is priceless
