DICK'S Sporting Goods

This store is awesome and so fun to browse through. There are usually good deals or coupons you can find and use as well as their rewards card. Great place for child sports clothing and accessories, sporting good (hunting and fishing), workout clothes, shoes, etc. Friendly staff that are always willing to help you out.

Called 10 different store final found the gift I was looking for. Reid in the golf department was very helpful. Put my item behind the counter so not to get sold. I had to drive 60 miles to pick it up the next day. I found out that he even text Mathew to make sure it went to me only. These two gentlemen took very good care of me, Bourbonnais store gets a 11 out of 10.

Exchanged 2 shirts would not process the new shirts @ the sale price. The person @ the store was having computer issues,hmm only 1 computer that can do this on! The store told me to come back with the shirts & they would credit me! I went home called customer service they gave me a reference# to call back & have then credit me. Customer service said they could have called and they could have given the store a reference # & it would have been done. Needless to say I am not happy with the store. And will think twice about ordering anything from Dick's sporting goods again. Until they change their exchange policy. this not the 1st I have had issues with this store. It was not busy in the store. I was there on a Monday night.

07-28-17 Was my first and last time visiting this location. My experience here was absolutely horrible and disgusting. Around 9:15 pm, my friend and I (both black) rushed in for some cool fitness gear before closing time. There were a few (white) people entering also as we were walking in. An employee was walking near all of us and once we all went into our own directions, he stopped and headed right behind me and my friend instead of the other customers. Store was clean and well organized. Employees drifted by us every now and then but wouldn't even smile or say hello. They would just stare awkwardly and mumble into a headset as they tampered with random shelves. After 2 minutes of browsing, the employee who became our shadow, approached me and asked if I needed help and I told him no thanks. We continued to browse and the same employee just kept following us around. He wasn't friendly or helpful at all; just flat out creepy. No smile or anything. Just mumbling into a headset while fixing random items nearby. I became so uncomfortable. It was so obvious that we weren't welcomed there so we headed straight towards to door. On our way out, that employee yelled out to us "Have a nice night!" while in synch with the voice of a distant female employee yelling "See ya'!"... They were more excited about us leaving than us coming! They didn't Make a peep at the sight of us entering but literally cheered and threw confetti upon our exit. I will not be visiting this location anymore. I dont like the way they made me feel. "As a human being, I would like to feel as close to human as possible while in the presence of other humans."
