Devil's Tombstone Campground

I've been coming to this campground for over 10yrs and prefer it over most in the area. The other reviewers talking about the outhouses and water situation should have gone onto the NYS website and would have known there are no flush toilets, showers, and only spigots for water. The campground is primitive and peaceful. Yes, you can go to NS Lake down the road to shower, which is great because you then get access to another beautiful park - bonus if you ask me. The male ranger here is a gem. He's beyond helpful and remembers most people when they return. Yes the sites are somewhat close to the road, but come on people, the road is not heavily traveled. Anyway, great place and highly recommended for those looking for a simple spot.

A very nice campground tucked into the notch between Plateau, and Hunter mountains. Sites are big and well kept. The outhouse is probably a lot better in winter, and it was all I could do to not gag.

Convenient location next to Devil's Path trail access, well maintained camp sites. Lacks showers and toilets are in great need of upgrade

Smaller and not as busy as North-south lake, but still pleasent and you get free access to North-south lale campgrounds. I just wish there were showers.
